  I bought a radio (branded as Roberts) with similar features a few years ago at David Jones for $180.
  Given the various choices of smart speakers (esp the free Google mini speakers with spotify family subscription) I am not sure if I would spend $179 on that.
  I know I am comparing apples and oranges - but the seller would need to work much better (under $100?) to attract us ozbargainers

    Not entirely. Smartphones and "Google mini" type products have made this sort of thing obsolete, like mp3 players and pocket cameras.

        Whatever you do, dont buy the Kogan one. Its a POS.

        Try and pick yourself up one of the PURE brand ones. I've had a few in different cars over the years and they're by far the best
