Only eligible item not equal to site wide

    • +6

Agree. Might be site wide but the eligible items could still consist of only 1% of items on sale on eBay. That's a NEG from me.

      • +8

        1%… So prob 1,000,000 items

  • +2

Nice coupon code eBay, I'm sure the planet loves consumerism…

    • +31

I think they are running out of ideas for codes given they all have to start with 'P'. Here Ebay, I'll help:

      PALTRY
      PATHETIC
      PITIFUL
      PUNY

That should help you churn out some of the next few 3% sitewide discounts

        Don't forget POOP

        ROFL!!

      • +1

PKOALA now, guess they didn't take your suggestions :(

    T&Cs

Min spend $70, max discount $300.

  • +5

Ebays mindset is on another planet

    • +2

I wish I had the wealth & success that comes with it.

  • Stop the press

  • Add an extra 0 and I'll think about it.

    • +3

You mean $700 minimum spend? ;p

      • +1

Don't say that, it will give them "ideas" 😂🤦‍♂️

        • True but the discount has already gone down to 3% and there's only one and two left before they start getting into fractions of one :p

  • Lets hope ebay gives us 15% sitewide next week for easter..

    • I think those days are gone. It was good while it lasted.

      • Remember when eBay used to do 20% but only every 6 months or something …

        • +1

There was only ever one 20% off site wide and that was through the US eBay. I think the best for the au site was 18% for their 18th.

  • +8

Let me get this straight… Only 5%, only selected items, AND a fairly high minimum spend?

    This isn't a bargain, it's a marketing fail.

  • +4

"eligible" which means about 90% of the items on ebay aren't eligible.

  • +3

"This code can not be applied to your order"

Just tell us what is eligible ffs surely the list can't be long.
My watchlist is ever growing thanks to these piss poor coupons

  • +7

Eligible items does not equal site wide. Neg for eBay.

  • +9

Enough with this BS from eBay

  • +7

Fake sale. Not sitewide. Misleading advertising.

  • +9

Unlike the last three 10% "eligible item" promos, I didn't even bother checking my watchlist and cart to see if just one of my items might miraculously qualify for this latest ambiguous promotion.

    "5% off sitewide"?

Not even logging in to ebay anymore unless I see department specific or site wide offers. My time is worth more than these obtuse scavenger hunts…

    • -7

      Listen to you.. Entitled much?

      • +3

Not particularly, it just seems like some people's time is worth a bit more than yours.

Which may explain why you've just spent the past half hour commenting on anyone who spoke against ebay's latest ambiguous promotions.

        Each to their own…

      • +1

@jayniner It’s cute how defensive and annoyed you’re getting over people sharing their opinions over something that has absolutely nothing to do with you. Try to do it in a way that doesn’t see half your comments being deleted going forward :)

  • +3

    Same bs as before

  • +4

    3%, 5%, 10% - none applies to any item I've been watching

  • +2

Didn't read title properly thinking this was site wide like the usual posts previously.

    • -6

Let's vote neg because I can't read.. sheeesh.

  • +1

Genuine can’t find a damn thing that works with the code pear and now this…..

  • +1

    Fake news

  • +1

Stop feeding eBay. It's too much stupid of an offer !!

  • +4

Neg for the meh offer on eBay's part. Kudos to the op for posting a deal though.

  • Thanks OP!

  • +1

my second post and everyone already hates it

    • +5

      I don't think it's you, I think it's eBay.

      Thank you for posting.

    • +3

Don't be so hard on yourself there is more up votes than down votes.
eBay Australian cashback sites giving zero rewards on purchases doesn't help.
Thank you for posting but the deal is not good enough for my up vote.

    • +1

      Thanks for your effort OP.

    • +2

Don't lose any sleep over it. The neg votes are a reflection on Ebay, not you.

We need more people posting - so don't be shy!

    • -1

It's not you OP. It is the entitled ozbarginers. Because it's not a huge sitewide discount that suits them and/or they don't read the actual wording of the promotion they get their panties all twisted up and pitchforks out. Pathetic.

    • +1

      It's not you, it's me.

  • +1

Too small and too restrictive compared to usual eBay discounts.

  • Cheers OP - thanks for posting

  • +1

    barely works on anything, pass

  • +1

Average offer, tried around a dozen items and worked on none of them.

  • +1

    Nothing on OP for posting.

It's bloody eBay that people are negging.

They suck but since Amazon proved to be less than its hype, eBay is laughing all the way to the bank

  • +1

    Another click bait from eBay!

  • +1

Sad day in Australian eBay History

  • The eBay code won’t apply on my things in my cart. Unhappy.

  • any code that work on everything? maybe a 3% or another 5%? i Need to pay for a $500 item i won

    • +2

      See

      Try PFLASH20 ($20 off) or PLACE (3% off = ~$15)

      • +1

thanks.. i ended up using that yesterday

  • Tried to apply to a cart of $75 AUD and get the message "We can't apply this code until you reach the minimum order total". I've previously had trouble and I'm assuming the amount has to be $75 USD (even though this isn't specifically mentioned. Alternatively the items I added weren't "selected items".
