This is dishonest: quoting price per-person twin share, but "up top $700" credit is per cabin. Shame on you.

How much for drinks? Piracy on the high seas?

Even coffee is not included in the base price.

    • As far as I know basic coffee, tea and water is free.

    • Yes, tea, coffee, water, orange juice, lemonade, apple juice, hot chocolate is free.

There are also two 7-11 style coffee machines that makes cappuccino, latte etc. on Deck 9.

Agree that the price is a bit too high considering I paid $850pp without onboard credit and ended up spending around 800 all up between me and my wife including few rounds on the casino.

      • Agree that the wording could be better, however taking the credit into account the cost works out ~$120 per person per day, which is not bad for a balcony cabin. Also, barista coffee is not included however filter/instant coffee is. Alcohol in general is more expensive than a pub but not by much, maybe 20% or so.

        • Thanks.
I've heard bad stories about extras, but was probably a different ship.

Also good, this one does not sell "unlimited drinks" package. (fewer drunks, hopefully)

How much for a bottle of wine with dinner?

    • Fixed title. Normal for cruise liners to advertise this way, but way better to be transparent for discerning ozbargainers :)

  • Drinks are same as any common Sydney pubs. $8.50 for beers and cocktails from $12.50. But the best cocktails are from "The Alchemy Bar" where they will mix what you like and they taste pretty damn good!

Source: Just came back from 9 day cruise last week.

    • You guys have $12.50 cocktails in Sydney?

      $15-18 is standard in Brisbane.

      • To be fair, the $12.50 cocktails in Sydney are not that great anyway. The best cocktails from the Alchemy Bar on the ship are around $16.50 a pop.

        • Think he means mocktails.

        • I'm talking about the bars in Sydney, not on the cruise.

What I meant was that cruise ship cocktails are cheaper, I found the same when I was on P&O.

  • Please don't tick the "Freebie" checkbox when your products/service costs money to purchase. Thanks

Feels like advertising. Can get similar, if not better deals by hunting around. Not a bargain.

  • Definitely not a bargain.

    This is almost standard pricing.

To be a bargain the agent should be quoting cracker deals across a range of interior, Oceanview and balcony cabins.

This price just doesn't cut the mustard.
