There have been a bunch of these deals lately (Australia Post, Officeworks), but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Saw this in the window of JB Hi-Fi Chatswood Westfield, went in and they confirmed that the deal applied to all stores;

Half price on all Belong Sims;

$20 (normally $40) includes 15GB, unlimited national calls and SMS, unlimited international calls to select counties.

$12.5 (normally $25) includes 5GB, unlimited national calls and SMS

$5 (normally $10) includes 1GB, unlimited national calls and SMS

    One reminder, you can actually purchase the half-price $40 sim and sign up a $10 monthly plan for four months. Before signing up, you can obtain a random referral code for another $20 credit.

      I'm not on Belong but I suppose you could buy 2 starter packs, use one for the $10 plan and another for the 15 GB plan, which you use to gift data to the $10 plan before closing the account (that will carry forward in perpetuity)?

        Probably. You'd need to create 2 accounts, their customer system doesn't cater for multiple SIMs per account.

    PSA: Belong plans are postpaid (it's in their CIS), you need to inform them when you want to leave, or port away, otherwise they will keep charging. What you are paying for here is the initial credit.

    Do they need to be activated by any particular date? I'm still using my belong credit from the Australia Post deal until August. I want to port out then port back again using this sim after August.

      The credit is put onto the SIM at the checkout and you have to activate within 12 months.

    Anyone with belong, when you refer a friend join and get $20 credit to both account how long does it take effect? I just recently joined and got the service up and running and still don't see any bonus credit.

      The referral credit will be listed under History initially and then after the next monthly payment the referral credit will also appear over in the Payment section.
