Use promo code APPFREECLUB to redeem your free club membership.
You can sign up for free and then log in through your browser for a better navigation experience.
I don't know if there is an app for Windows phones or if the code would work directly on the website, but you are free to try if you want.
It has been discussed previously over here how good this website can be sometimes in regards to savings.
Enjoy :)
UPDATE:
After the help of a few fellow OzBargainers and some research on the internet, please find below a better explanation of the deal and the websites involved.
The most important part is: 1 free year of membership to Last minute Travel (lastminutetravel.com) and Last Minute Travel Club (lmtclub.com).
They are separate websites for the same company. One is the main travel agency (Last Minute Travel) and the other one is the exclusive club of that agency (Last Minute Travel Club). According to some reviews I found online
There is a difference between Last Minute Travel ("LMT"), and Last Minute Travel Club (LMT Club). It's only the latter that has a membership (which has recently been free with the code).
Last Minute Travel is similar to Hotwire - they don't always tell you the name of the hotel. LMT Club does tell you the name of the hotel when you log on.
Now, in regards to the first coupon (APPFREECLUB), you have to sign up through the mobile app and it will give you access to Club prices. As a matter of fact, when you look at your profile in the app, it will say that you are a "Club member". Furthermore, I compared the prices on LMT Club on a web browser with my old LMT Club account and the phone app with a newly created app membership for this purpose, for a 2 night stay in Las Vegas and the prices were the same. Heck, even the order of presentation of the hotels were the same.
@zzymurgy explained on the comments that one could use the code on the lastminutetravel.com website too and it would work to log into the app as well.
Now, by signing up through this first deal, at the moment you only get direct access to the App and to lastminutetravel.com, not to lmtclub.com. However, I found out that while on lastminutetravel.com on a web browser, if you pick any other option to book besides 'hotel', it will take you to the Club website and you will still be logged on (your credentials will show up at the top menu). Why is that? Who knows, but it might change in the future (might take 24 hours to gain access directly to the club website or who knows).
Now, if you want to log in to lmtclub.com directly through a web browser, there is the second deal that @yoquierotaco so kindly provided. This is, sign up on that website using the code MONEYSAVER. It is supposed to be lifetime, although it only gave me a year's fee discount (just like with the other code). It also asked me for a credit card number, however, I left the page and it redirected to the main menu by itself, so once again, I have no idea what is going on.
Last Minute Travel Club is a great option to those who are looking to travel to the U.S. It has been discussed before here at OzBargain in places like this(which I also posted), this and this.
If you liked the deal or have used it, please upvote :)
Happy travels!!!
Strange to note that i can't log into lmtclub.com/ but can log into https://www.lastminutetravel.com/. Is the first website a scam website or something?
