  hmm tempting, but colour laser.. expensive toner..

  just in case anyone else is interested.. approx prices for toner..

    $88 and $132 at Road Mogul and Officeworks will beat these by 5%…

    so $84 and $126… That's not too bad for 3000 pages… My HP laser only does about 2000-2500 I think…

      or compatible toner.. around $53.. that's not too bad at all..

      I assume the drum isn't included with the toner cartridge?

      Per page black toner cost is not too bad, but not too great either compared to Brother printers that have high yield toners. HP always has high running cost.

  yeah, and just like inkjet printers i don't think they give you full toners with this colour laser, the 'starter' toners will probably give you way less than the 3000 in a full toner

    my HP 2600n came with FULL toners… Some models do, so you need to check…

      in the brochure it states :

      "Printer is shipped with one set of starter toner cartridge with an average yield of about 2,000 pages for Black and 2,000 pages for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow."

    bought it on spec, came with the duplex unit as well, so can't really go wrong
