i find it funny every time someone posts for the first time they are scared like anything and must start their post with "please don't hurt me".

I think we ought to be a little more kinder :)

    • +1

      Agree

      • +1

i been seeing from last year or so how some people been badly neg'd, dont want to be one of them atleast for first post

        • +11

its okay, we were all n00bs once, except Chuck Norris.

          Good Deal!

        • -6

Maybe the internet isn't for you if you're so sensitive to being neg'd. We rate deals on their worthiness and we're not going to go easy on somebody just because they're 'new'. It looks like your deal is excellent, so you've got nothing to worry about.

        • +9

@jelko, apparently we rate comments on their worthiness too! :p

        • -1

@jelko, I think you must be the one who keeps blowing your whistle at the learner plate driver I saw yesterday. I think you are kind of suk.

    • i think the nervousness is warranted, try posting stuff on sites like reddit or digg (not necessarily bargain related stuff) you instantly get flamed and trolled and Neg'd and what not,
but nothing compares to the friendliness of ozbargain!

does it come with ink and ready to use?

    • No laser printers come with ink.

    • +2

Yes it probably comes with "ink" or in laser printing terms, a toner. Most printers come with half-full toners (1,500 pages), some companies have kindly been putting full toners in lately. If you're a heavy duty printer user you should always have a backup, but for the odd thing around the house you probably won't need one.

  • Seems like a good deal. I might get one! :)

could anyone give me any info about the toner's price and how often it needs to be replaced?

This will be my first laser printer, so I've got no clue..

Still looking for more reviews, but seems an awesome price

Also, not sure if these discount codes will work

    • Can't use coupon for steal of the day offers.

      • ah ok, thanks

    • I've got the previous generation of this printer, the 3200MFP which has everything except auto duplex. The printing part is excellent, the B&W scan is reasonable and the photocopy function is very convenient. Colour scan is not as good as a flat bed scanner.

  • Good price especially if you are looking for a laser one with NETWORK ready! There are many multifunction lasers around the $200-300 but most are not with network printing!

  • +2

hi icmania,Genuine Xerox WorkCentre 3210 / 3220 Toner Cartridge CWAA0776 will cost you about $130 and you can print about 5000 pages.Printer is shipped with one set of starter toner cartridge with an average yield of about 2,000 pages.hope this help you.

    • Thanks for your help!

  • +1

yeah but also remember you can always refill the toner from local ink shop for about 30-50 dollars

    Sold out already!

    • yup was filling in my cc details, out of stock :(

    • Mate wireless is crap in home printers, i wouldn't suggest, unless you go for professional setup, rather use router to connect wireless, same thingy

      • Is a wireless printer server better?

  • BACK in STOCK

  • I know know anything about printers. Is this worth buying?

    • -1

Probably best to just buy yourself pen and paper and handwrite your copies.

      • +3

LOL. Isn't that the copy the dog eats?

I use to own a multifunction. I left it on the floor with the cartridges exposed. It kept flashing error. My dog barked at it then aggressively ripped it to pieces. A mouse ran out of it. True story.

        • +4

I see you have a multifunction dog too, doing the cat's job. :)

  • +3

Awesome. I just bought myself one even though I don't really need it. LOL.

    • +2

You should have just sent the money to me. :) Yeah, I was sorely tempted too. But I have a working laser printer and don't have the space for this and there are sure to be other bargains in future. Must … not … click … on … link.

  • Bought one at MSY for about $350 about a month ago. Great unit, good price.

  • FML!!!! I come back and find out it's back in stock, go through checkout and its out of stock again… not my day..
