I got one before. This may not come as a shock, but they are rubbish. Don't waste your time.
Telescope mechanism leaks badly, and it seems to be a design fault.

      Hmm.. that really blows!

        My interest - deflated.

          I understand, that.. sucks

          @Shuey: What a let down.

When the positive is 'can be used to pump a soft tire up to better pressure' rather than a psi rating you've got to be a bit sceptical.

I bought one last year. I use it to pump soccer balls, and it works wonderfully.

      Your pump might be faulty.

  • +6

    Mine actually worked.

    • to what pressure?

      • Mine went to ~45 PSI. Works pretty good actually

        • So roughly half what's needed for a road tyre.

    • +1

      mine did too

      • +1

What I found was that pushing it half-way did nothing. Only the second half built any pressure, and then not for long.

If you are only getting 20 psi, its ok for toys but not bicycles.

    • Mine worked too. Quite an effort to get decent psi but it got there eventually, so it will work in those situations where you don't have another option.

  • Used it for blowing up balloons. Good enough for my purposes.

  • these handy to blow up football's and soccer balls also

  • Gave the last one to a neighbour and he was very happy with it.

  • i inflated a kids bike and it worked a treat

    • +9

How big did the kids bike get?

      • hahaha +1

  • If you need to order bulk seems like the mobile app reduces them to $4 bucks each still pretty good

Psigh. Turns out to maybe not be a good deal after all.

  • what exactly does the "dropship" option do at the end of the gearbest ordering process? I've ticked it a couple of times but didn't really notice a difference.

    • Presumably it means it doesn't mention gearbest on the package (for people who on-sell).

  • Maybe the parcel comes via a Zeppelin?

  • had one…. absolute rubbish…I am a bit cut, as it made me walk 5km beside my bike…

  • junk.. doesn't work. Needs to come with a bicycle attachment which is does not
