Hi, I only just noticed this go up yesterday on eBay. Ring Video Doorbell V2 being sold for $289.95 and with the 10% off sitewide coupon, brings it to $260.95 with free standard shipping. I cannot for the life of me find the end date of the 10% sitewide discount though, so someone clue me in if you know.

If you don't make the deal in time though, Bunnings (my local one in Morley WA at least) has agreed to price beat the $289.95 amount for a final sum of $260.96. Take note that you have to order in from the Special Orders desk and at this point in time, will only have it in by Mid January 2018.

      Don't know really.

      I can't speak for other Bunnings stores but mine asked me to confirm that this was an eBay shop, not simply a seller (i.e someone getting rid of their 2nd hand goods). They would need the name of the eBay store and find the exact product, have proof that it's in stock, have proof of the actual price including shipping, probably has to be in Australia too. Then they'll verify that Bunnings offers the exact same product and that the eBay shop's price is indeed lower.

      I would say they were cautious about doing the Price Beat, not hostile.

      Bunnings have a police they price beat eBay by 10%
      I regularly get stuff from Bunnings most big ticket items by more then 50%

    I would buy from Bunnings if they can pricematch. 1 cent difference gets you the receipt for warranty from a reliable seller.

    Er, now that these 'Ring' devices are becoming known to all and sundry, won't a not-very-nice-person seeking unattended entry into your home work out you might not actually be home?

    (I do understand though that some undesirables may see that particular doorbell as a deterrent.)

    when this catches on - crooks will see the brand "ring" on the doorbell and avoid pressing it. They'll just break in regardless.
    Get yourself a dog and avoid these flash in the pan gimmicks.

        still too many flaws. easy assessed battery. 3.6v 6.1ah. which would be enticing to a lot of rc hobbyists. easily pryed off the wall with a small screwdriver.
        a rasperry pi on your own cloud in a discrete , hard to access location for a quarter of the price, is far far better.
        thats if you dont like dogs.
