    When i go to the link through browser it says $5.99
    BUT when i view thru iTunes, it says free.. However it cannot download it yet, as it's being modified..

    I wonder why the Lonley Planet apps always say the thing about being modified for awhile before it finally opens up to being downloaded? Are they really 'modifying' it for 8hours??
    I've never experienced it on any other apps before.. Anyone have any ideas?

    Yep just downloaded. My phone is beginning to clog up with these city guides that I'm unlikely to ever afford to visit =(

        You can always delete them and reinstall the individual apps only when you need them. Even when the price go back up, as long as you purchased it while it was free you will always be able to install it for free.

    I've tried this app and its real crappy, I'd rather just use Internet reviews to find the top places to see and eat. If I paid for this, I would be so pissed off.
