Does anyone know if I would receive a Myer Tax Invoice? If so, would it shows $1199 or $959.20?
It is for the full amount. WIth the full GST component.
Why would a tax invoice show a price that you didn't pay, it'll show $959.20…
It will show the full amount - source - I have received my invoice for an iPad showing the full $599.00 and the full GST. Ebay have paid the 20% - so it is the same to Myers as you using an Ebay Gift Voucher.
I bought a Fitbit on one of these deals and it did not hold charge - Big W did not question the source of the funds when I had to return it for exchange (and I did just do an exchange even though they were slightly cheaper at other places) - so if you are asking because you want to buy it at 80% and return it at 100% then (shame on you, but) it will work - that is until Ebay get wise to it happening and pull these deals.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT FOR THE SAKE OF RETURNING IT - that is fraudulent and will ruin it for others who are just after a bargain.

Ebay/PayPal deals are treated as a split payment with PayPal kicking in the difference. All invoices and other references are for the full amount.
Tax invoice show a price the seller sold it for. Its like you are buying an item from a shop, you and your girlfriend decided to split payment. The store isn't going to create separate tax invoice for each right, it'll create one for the one they sold. In this case, your girlfriend is eBay. Capiche?

These things are really cool, but jeez, a grand for an iPad is still big money for a tablet; Apple is close to these being able to replace a PC but they're just not quite there yet.
Edit; Uh, this prob seems a bit Trollish, I'm not trying to start a debate or anything (I'd love one of these iPads, and I can see why people would buy one), this is a good deal no question considering the cost of these guys normally, I guess it just seems to me, like a fair bit of cheddar for a tablet is all.
i'd prefer one of these for laptop tasks personally due to the 4k screen (it basically becomes a laptop once you add a keyboard). the only time you couldn't is for niche tasks that don't have an iOS app equivalent.
Would I be able to buy this and change in store for a space grey model? I love the price but really want to get the space grey… Don't want to buy it for all the hassle of having to return if I can't exchange to different colour..
