Then the M3 will likely see a price drop - and the M4 may well come in something like this price (the M4 chips are cheaper than the M3 chips)… or with our dollar being lousy they might use it as an opportunity to bump the prices up for the whole lineup.
I'm in the market too, I think I'll probably wait and see.
You wont see a price drop on the m3 - it will disappear, and youll be lucky to grab any stock. In a few months you may see them pop up on apple refurbished.

Not bad if you just want to write documents… although you won't get the benefit of writing tools with less than 16gb of ram. So maybe not so great, unless you just want to browse website - at which point an ipad is probably better value.

They no longer sell 8gb models unless they are old stock (i think there are a few ones around). OP has a typo - this deal is for the 16gb if you click through to it.
