Original 10% off Sitewide at eBay Deal Post

- Have expired this deal due to cheaper availability from Amazon US -

Hey guys - we have available Roku Streaming Stick+ released on 10th October together with Aussie power adapter and free shipping in stock and ready for dispatch.

If you don't want to wait for shipping from overseas and want to get one with a C-tick approved power adapter - together with the running 10% off deal eBay are doing at the moment they're great value.

Local AUS warranty on these devices so you don't have to ship overseas.

The latest version comes with the following upgrades over the previous model:

  • Overall upgraded processor speed
  • 4K UltraHD via HDCP 2.2 + HDR @ 60fps
  • 802.11ac Dual Band MIMO Wireless

At the moment the only way to get these specs are in the chunkier version devices - this refresh should benefit with hidden / wall mounted set ups.

Great for watching US on demand channels through their apps / Cable TV accounts (History Channel, CBS All Access, HBO, National Geographic, Discovery etc) as well as Youtube, Netflix, Hulu and other third party channels available to Roku.

Also great for screen casting from Android devices.

For all OzBargain members if they use the Make an Offer feature and include their username in the Offer Comments section I will accept offers $5 less than the listed amount ($149.88 - $5 = $144.88) after which the 10% off will kick in while the promo is on and bring the price down further to $130.39

The next 5 orders will be shipped Express Post at no extra charge =)

  • You have it available to make an offer… Why not offer us a better price?

    • You're right - but I don't want to offer just anyone a better price - I want to offer a further $5 off for all OzBargain members.

Simply make an offer and put your username in as the comment and I'll let them go for a further $5 less before the discount kicks in.

      How does that sound ?

Can put in the title =)

  • Does the remote have the headphone jack?

    • It does not - but you can can use the Roku app to do the same thing on any Apple or Android device if you get the App through the US app / play store.

  • I'm interested.. however,do we need to fix our DNS settings to get it working? My Optus modem doesn't allow it, unfortunately.

    • I'll be surprised if it doesn't ! Which model do you have ?

PM me and I'll be happy to help.

      • It's a Netgear CG3000 V2. On cable internet

        • The only way would be to add another device on top of the CG3000 seems Optus have canned the DNS setting

      • I think they are referring to the fact that a lot of the US channels you mention require a Smart DNS or VPN service to work, which isn't supported by locked-down modems, eg. Sagemcom 3864OP.

        Edit: Netgear CG3000 V2 too.

        • As above - might need another device.

  • Does this have a microSD slot to watch downloaded movies?

    • All Roku Streaming Sticks do not have microSD slots.

For downloaded content I use the built in Roku Media Player so that I don't have to keep copying movies back and forth.

Or you can use the Plex App.

  • Does it have a Plex app?

  • How can you even charge AU $150 for this !!! We can get it shipped from Amazon US or even on ebay for less than AU $100

    https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1365501-REG/roku_3810…

I though grey imports should be cheap like what Kogan, eglobal, Aliexpress provide for so cheap. Good luck to your business but this whole point of importing 100 from US at US $50 each and then reselling at AU $130 to non suspecting buyers is a ripping business to people who dont know . This is not Ozbargain material. Make it AU $99 shipped express post and we have a deal. I will show you how you can get this for US $50 + shipping from US if you order more than 100 pieces.

    • If you want a US warranty, a 110v power adapter and to have to ship the item back when it has a problem - you are welcome to buy it for less from overseas and wait for the stock to arrive.

The price we have is $144.88 for OzBargain members with a 10% discount from eBay down to $130 - not $150.

With all of that in mind - we are very competitive and if you can show me a cheaper price from an Australian store please let me know.

I don't think it's fair to say that a bunch of items available for sale in Australia with quick shipping and AUS warranty can be had cheaper from another country and to neg a deal - but hey I totally understand if you don't see the benefits.

      I hope others do.

  • Even available on Amazon to be shipped to AU

    https://www.amazon.com/Roku-Streaming-Stick-streaming-wirele…

Price: $69.00 + $6.39 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to Australia Details so that is below AU $99. Are you saying you will provide a better warranty and service than Amazon.

    • Definitely a faster warranty and a much faster shipping time.

      And AUS power adapter.

You could buy things separately and muck around shipping the item here and back - bottom line is we have the best deal in Australia on stock already here with Australian PSU and Aus warranty.

Thank you for your feedback either way.

Are you saying you will provide a better warranty and service than Amazon.

Unless Roku have an international warranty you're going to have a return period of 30 days compared to the 12 months from a local seller.

    This is on Amazon.

Sorry rep but it's powered by a standard Micro-USB - no need for a specific charger, any easy to find USB wall charger will do it fine, or best alternative is a cord like this

        Or it mentions this:

Note: This mini power cable replaces the 60" jumbo USB cable included with Roku.

So really, the stick comes with a USB cord which can be used to power it. No need to plug into the wall at all. No need to buy a cable.

        • -1

Actually, the cable included with this model is not just a regular cable - it is a WiFi AC cable that gives the Roku the better WiFi feature.

You may not want to replace the cable for this reason.

Understandably the unit can be powered from any USB wall charger - thanks for clarifying for others - but instead of looking for one, one is included.

      • No one will buy even 1 from here, even if there is a 20% coupon on eBay. Seriously you are providing no support, you are just buying from US at bulk at around US $55-60 and flogging it here. Same as how other eBay sellers do for Amazon Echo, Fire TV. These are grey imports and if u decide to stop selling on eBay and operate on a sole trader basis , all you care is past PayPal protection period there is no warranty.

We can buy Redmi Note 4x on coupon and cashback everyday for US $99 and like other eBay sellers decide to make some money on eBay by selling it for AU $250 and telling local Australian company and support ! It's a grey import after all and no different to a private eBay sale like any of us here

      • The adapter's is multi voltage anyway, there are very few items which come with only 110V. Are you still in 90s ?

        • -1

          It's not multi-voltage. It's 110v all Roku except Roku 3 come with 110.

Anyway points duly noted - will re-evaluate to see if I can get these down to Amazon prices.

  • +1

Why would you even try to sell this item knowing fully that it can be available at cheap elsewhere and that too on ozbargan. And that 10% off is offered by eBay not you. Find other platform dude..talking about irony.

    • Was worth giving it a go - it appears a lot of people don't really value AUS warranty / support happy with overseas purchase.

      • What support sorry ? We all here buy $2000 laptops on Amazon. Are you new here and aware of the audience here ?

It's called Broaden. I can start an eBay store and sell this right now for AU $125 before coupon and still make $5-$10 on each sale

        • Fair enough - have expired the deal - noted.

  • Power of Amazon $69USD + $7USD Shipping (Around AUD 100 roughly) thats a normal price, Where is the bargain mate?

  • Sorry rep but I doubt you can top Amazon's warranty support. They have always Fedex'ed me a replacement unit within hours of me ending the 5 minute chat session with them. Not to mention I'm given 30 days to return the faulty units, plus paid returns even if it costs hundreds of dollars (e.g. home theater receiver or other bulky items).

I even got given gift cards when my order arrived a few days late, or when the outer shipping carton was slightly crushed but the product and even it's packaging is still in pristine condition.

    • Food for thought.
