When it ended, I walked off with a box of these Groove Music Pass cards (thinking I just grabbed 100+ yrs of free Groove MP). It was out there for everyone to take as much as they wanted & it was barely touched."

      Likewise, until mine runs out in a couple of months, then I have a 3yr sub for this to switch to.
      Not sure about you, but if it's like for like, I prefer free to $9.99 a month.

        I had a look around at the playlists on Groove, and I seem to prefer the ones on Groove compared to Google Play. Plus, the apps appears to not have a fit when I skip a couple of songs, unlike on Google's iOS app.

    I can confirm these are stackable :) I did it by mistake the first time as I didn't think the first one worked.

    I was able to extend until "Auto renew off, expires on 5/15/2020" then got this message:

    "Hold off extending this right now
    You've reached the limit of how far you can extend a subscription. Depending on the product it could be 2-5 years."

    The only upside to Groove is that you can play it in connected standby on a surface.

    No Chromecast, weird interface and seems to have a patchy backcatalogue.

    Still, free is free.

      12m sub is 110,000pts

      You can get 30 per day using Bing, plus 150 per month using Edge. So you should easily have enough points after… 9 years.

        That's for level 1. Level 2 gets more points per day (90 on PC and 60 on mobile). Plus they had a 3 months subscription to groove for 200 points a few days ago so something similar might come back.

      Highly doubt it.
      It's Microsoft, not always based in the US, run 24/7 and it's a mass redemption campaign, they wouldn't be a proving these one by one..

        Don't forget that Groove Music Pass includes 100GB of OneDrive space. You can fill the OneDrive Music folder up with 100GB of your own music, and Groove will automatically add that content to its library across all your devices. This is something Spotify cannot do.

          Eh. I have 42,437 tracks on google music. Which has far more functionality. MS needs to get their shit together if they are going to get anywhere with groove.

          Although someone post med that you can integrate this directly into Xbox one games, which is kind of awesome
