When it ended, I walked off with a box of these Groove Music Pass cards (thinking I just grabbed 100+ yrs of free Groove MP). It was out there for everyone to take as much as they wanted & it was barely touched."

MAJOR EDIT: Seems like you can STACK codes and the codes are RE-USABLE I just tested this after seeing the OP's edit. I picked a code that had been "used" in the comments and applied it to my account. It has stacked another 3 months: https://imgur.com/a/eSVTA

      Might have just been me, my company's proxy servers are located all over the world, and you never know where your connection is going to appear to come from. I think they just thought my account was compromised. All seems ok now I've "verified" my account.

      Also got the email, and was fully expecting it to arrive sooner or later. Although it will be interesting to see if each account gets reduced to 3 months, or if only the first activation of each individual code is valid.

    Got the same email. To be honest it was expected but I'm glad they didn't take any drastic measures like banning accounts as unlikely as that was.

    What is it saying in your accounts?
    I got the email but it is still saying that it is good till the end (mind you, I only used 2 codes).

    I didn't particularly enjoy using groove. Not gonna miss it. But fun while it lasted!

    Yeah no great loss really. I gave it a go for about a week and went straight back to Spotify instead. I'm already happy to pay the Family account for Spotify anyway. My subscription page still says 2020 expiry for me so may take some time to sort out completely.

    Received the same email. I found it's use a crappy experience anyhow. Same result has eventuated as when I've tried the other streaming music services - and that is back to Spotify.

          Just realised today that I got an email on the 14th about this too. Mine still says it expires on 15/5/2020. Although I use Google Music as well, I find the playlist suggestions on Groove to be better. I'll keep using it until it stops working!

          Interesting development. My account went from the May 2020 expiry to January 2018, but after logging back in today it says May 2020 again. Perhaps they reversed it?

      Yep same. No strings attached music streaming - hopefully at least 1 person found value in it :) Personally went back to Spotify after like 10 minutes hahaha.
