Major supermarkets supply stock from their warehouses, when they need to make room. Amazing amounts of food that was destined for stores makes its way to the mouths of those in need.
    Great service by OzHarvest.

Tasty food free at these awareness events. You can make a donation towards their operating costs, but none expected or even asked for in my experience.

Look up previous years deals for more info.

Direct link to Gold Coast event at the Kitchens, Robina Town Centre here. It's not listed on their main page's events ATM.

  • OP: Better OzHarvest site link with links to each event (Includes GC)

Facebook link does not work on phone despite changing to desktop site. Suggest changing Deal Link to the OzHarvest site link.

I think I ate too much in Brissie last year ;-(

We went last year, it was very good. Kinda sad they moved to unimelb now instead of fed sq. Feels more targeted towards students rather than general public.

  • Only overheard colleagues at work as I didn't go, but apparently 4 different soups were available… Bit of a wait though, obviously. This was the Martin Place one.
