Don't forget that if you buy five, you can get a free 600 mL Solo (or whatever drink you prefer) as well. Five clams for 5 wings and a 600 mL Solo is the best deal going around at the moment, given how much soft drinks have gone up in the last couple of years. Unless you count the free frozen orange/mango drinks from HJs … nothing beats totally free I guess.

For years, they have been the only fast-food joint you can go into and get absolutely free food (no spend required), on a regular basis.
I reckon that deserves some 'big ups'/good will. HJs will always be my favourite fast-food joint, for this reason.

It's true. These days the Original Recipe coating is not prepared properly, at least that is what I have found at my locals (except during Hot n Spicy promo, where the coating sticks).

I think they're both made out of cat but the spices are similar / same on both.
Yeah they have been skinned slightly differently.
From the picture it looks like coles one has 8 pieces in one pack for $9 but with KFC you can get 9 pieces for $9
The amount you get will be dependent on how big the chicken wings are, these are also available all the time for an almost identical price, not just at KFC's marketing departments whim.

Genuinely - a dollar per half a wing (and a tiny one) seems a tad pricy for the quality and god knows what the coating + frying oil they reused.
May as well buy 2kg worth for $9.5 and actually enjoy prepping it plus eating a proper wings meal - If you have time and wish to keep check on the ingredients

I once bought some chicken from KFC and the chicken I got in the box still had feathers on it, of course I complained but apparently the (profanity) idiot putting the chicken in the box not even noticing was completely OK according to the Manager of the store I spoke to.
As a public service announcement I happily walked around to all the cars lined up in the drive though and showed them first-hand the chicken they could be served up, needless to say quite a few were disgusted with the quality control.
