  • Anyone have experience with this model?

    • Yeah. i bought some a few years ago. Rechargeable batteries last about 2 months in them. They are really good and pretty bright. Perfect for if you don't want to always turn the light on at night. Light stays on about 30 seconds I think, never actually timed them

    • In my experience with sensor lights, I just about always prefer the sensor facing in a different direction to the light direction; I don't want the light blinding me directly indoors, but rather have it bouncing softer light off a ceiling or wall.

And almost always they come with Cool White LEDs inside. For my tastes, these are horrible for indoors usage. If you are a tinkerer and you prefer Warm White, they can probably be replaced, but at that point you are better off with your own DIY circuit. The PIR sensors themselves can be bought extremely cheaply on ebay (and are usually more configurable regarding ON time, retriggering, etc).

But this all depends on your tastes and application. I have never used this model.

    • I had an unused voucher and couldn't find anything worthwhile to buy so got 2, cost me $5 after the $10 voucher. Wouldn't recommend them light output is very dim.

    • I never recommend this product.I had use it and last only weeks. Don't waste your money.

      • +2

        Replace batteries.

        • SEnsor problem ( not batteries ).

  • I wonder how long the batteries would last with moderate use - say 2-4 per night?

  • the LEDs on mine stopped working on mine after a few days

  • Do these have magnets in them so i attach with ease?

    • I don't think they have.Refer to the user manual in kogan website how to fix the same.

  • Lower your energy bills

Lower your expectation for the brightness too…

  • Just carry a small LED torch if you need to get up in the wee hours for a piss.

  • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/286385 got these last time and worked out great outdoors. Motion sensing and solar powered. Neighbours wanted some too.
