Checkout in USD and pay with 28 degrees to get OP's price.

  • Rugged construction that is waterproof (IP64)

    IP64 is not waterproof.

    • its water resistant.
while we're nitpicking I like this statement - "No batteries, no cables & easy to install"
      and yet the specs show "Li-ion Battery 3.7V, 800MA, 0.44W" :-)

The real reason that this doesn't need to be waterproof is because it will not be completely submerged in water. Rain, even heavy rain will be fine. IPX4 covers the splashing of water from any direction, at a volume of 10L/minute. I have similar solar powered lights and they operate completely fine with only a water resistant rating.

No one is questioning why it's not waterproof. An inaccurate claim was made in the deal description that they were waterproof, this has now been rectified.

  • With smart placement of these (under eaves, semi shelter etc) they will be fine for at leat 24mths I'd say.
Cheapest alternative I found was $10.67 per unit on Gearbest http://www.gearbest.com/outdoor-lights/pp_520533.html?wid=21

oh wow - the photoshop guy has been busy!! the gearbest pics are cool. and fake. lol

      • @walaj, my thoughts too, but on both site pictures with unit on a brick wall. The unit is 100mm tall (10cm), shown covering 3.5 bricks in both site pictures. That would make the bricks less than 3cm tall each right?. Wow, imagine the poor sod building that dolls house :-). As long as they provide decent light, then great and size is not the issue, but the pictures do not represent reality for an external brick wall, but when I first saw this deal I was expecting the units to be about 250cm tall, silly I know for that price, but standard bricks are 76mm tall, so 3.5 x that with the mortar too and you get nothing like those images on the site. The actual unit will span about one and a half bricks in height. Just my one cent worth.

    • $7.26 US / $9.96 AU using the same coupon as this deal.

      • HI Chris,

yes I have used double sided tape on to the brick wall. just under the car port eves.

in WA we get very strong afternoon sunlight. so it lasts over night.

        • Really appreciate it… now you have me wondering about mounting with double sided tape… onto a brick wall!
Are they that light and doesn't the heat of the day have the backing of the tape softening/slipping?
Might like to install the same way. I'm well aware that it gets really hot there in the summer
but we are getting hammered with high temps right now too.

Looks decent but won't the heat from the sun destroy the lithium battery?

  • cashrewards? also if you buying something else too, can try to use the coupon code BD1
I added another AUD$5 item into the cart, save more with BD1 code than the GRM

  • Do you need to buy an Australian Southern Hemisphere sunlight 😌 or do you turn them upside down?
