I'm surprised this hasn't expired yet. It's been more than 36 hours now.
Here are previous David Jones (and David Jones Online) statement credit offers, I may have missed a few very old ones (and I haven't included any targeted offers) but it seems like the online only deals are less popular than the ones included in store.

Careful, according to others above e-gift cards are processed through a different provider and thus not eligible for the cashback!

If you need a cheap item to go with your gift card for free shipping, take a look at this search results page of all products ordered by price.
The basket will show $10 for shipping, but it's reduced to $0 on checkout.
Got myself a few chip-resistant porcelain espresso cups ($2.00) along with a dedicated espresso spoon ($2.95), and a set of stainless steel mini tongs ($2.50).

I purchased two days ago and are in transit for a $150 DJ gift card (not ecard) using my DJ American express card online (via Qantas mall for possible extra bonus points). However I did not get any email of the rebate from Amex at all?
Should I be worried peeps??? Dont want to go ahead and buy another 5 lots using my other Amex cards if I am not getting any rebates back. Thanks in advance for any rebate confirmation from fellow OZB.
I made 3 orders on the first day within an hr of this post and never got confirmation of credit email (like normal). Friday item was shipped, today I checked my statement and it says offer redeemed, so Im 100% sure I will get the credits.
I also made a 4th purchase on Friday and instantly got confirmation email.
Looks like amex didnt setup the auto emails correctly.
Dont be worried if you have ordered, just wait 5 business days at least.

Got emails straight away. Yet to receive credit but T&c says only e gift cards excluded.
Made 3 purchases on primary and 2 supplementary card on 28th April. 1 supp received email on that day and credit today. Other 2 no emails and no credit. Will have to call them. Glad to know only egift card excluded in the T&C
If you go to the full terms and conditions there is blanket gift card exclusion.
I fear they have finally caught up.
Personally have submitted 10 registrations and spends.
Only 2 Amex confirmation emails and zero credits to date.
@IanC: The initial setup of this was wrong and didnt give automatic credit. You need to wait or ring up amex and or send them a request.
@Turd: With Chanel and Dior products ordered for delivery from the online store, they come wrapped up in Chanel paper and Chanel ribbon (normally black but you can get pink ribbon for Mother's Day) or wrapped in Dior tissue paper, placed in a Dior bag and tied with a Dior ribbon. :)
YSL doesn't get the same treatment :(

How to get free delivery for the $150 gift card? It was mentioned you need to add some items to the cart but what is the minimum amount? Added a few $2 items but still charges me $10 for delivery.

I get an error message of "Not available for Online Delivery." for the expresso cup. What items did you add apart from the gift card to avoid the $5 shipping fee?
Won't post as a separate deal but RM williams are currently 50 dollars off bringing craftsman down to 495.
Combined with this ($30 off 150) and the remainder paid with 350 of egift card at 10% off (using entertainment book/etc $35 off), and finally 6% cash back (nearly $30 @ 6%), it comes to nearly the recent 30% off sale except you have quite a few styles.
TL/DR - Can Get RM Williams craftsman for ~400 delivered with a bit of work.
Can I use cash rewards when buy classic gift card?
No but when you purchase the item with your GC you can use CR.

I went to DJ website via CR, and it registered as a purchase with around $8 cashback. I guess no harm to do it.
I've tried that before… didn't succeed. When the cash back was due to be cleared, the claim was declined.

Except, it may not according to CR T&C's:
Cashback may not be payable if a gift card is purchased or used for payment.
From DJ conditions on Rewards page:
Important Change: Rewards will not be paid when you purchase a Gift Card/s. Rewards will be payable when a Gift Card is used as a payment method.
