Is it possible to edit the referral to only capture
    Qantas Business Rewards Card

That is the one with the additional referral bonus

  • Amex is really hard to get approval - it's a shame cuz the bonus point/fee ratio is really high. I used to have a card which I churned then closed, then I've tried twice in the past two years and got knocked back due to credit score in the 70-80 range despite having 100k+ income, meanwhile other banks instantly approve me. I've since taken Amex out of the churn rotation.

    • Same here - got rejected when I tried to apply for an Amex card recently. Didn't have any issues with other banks.

      • For me it was the other way round. 2 years back, as a new business was trying to get a business card, whilst others like ANZ, etch threw tantrums. Amex was a breeze.

I have only recently closed the account. What is classified as the new customer, if i want to reapply.

        • I believe it was an 18-month exclusion period.

    • Sole trade or company? I've just applied for one under a company and wondering how it'll go as it's my first company card. I have an excellent credit score personally though. They didn't even ask for any financials or anything. I've heard Amex is one of the most relaxed companies. NAB wanted me to link Xero so they could assess previous 12 months and also wanted an ATO summary to assess any ATO debts. And I'm a NAB business customer so they already have access to all my accounts lol. Amex was a very smooth process in comparison.

      • Have you dumped the NAB one yet?

        • Just use them for savings

  • referral down from 80k to 75k as well

  • Churn exclusion period not specified; I closed this card recently and wonder if I can churn it again.

    • Card Members who currently hold or who have previously held any Card product issued by American Express Australia Limited in the past 18 months are ineligible for the 150,000 Qantas Points offer.

  • I got this offer 'for free' on my Qantas Amex Ultimate, but without the 150k bonus points.

  • All you need is a TFN right?

      • Have an annual business revenue of $75,000 or more
      • Have a valid ABN registered for GST
      • Dangit! Thanks for this info mate
