I havent signed up for this service yet. Could you please share your experience using this app. Just looking at the fare estimates seems a bit overpriced. Thanks :)

I think it's just another TAXI call service.. I still prefer GoCatch rideshare over UberX most of the time..
How come you prefer GoCatch over Uber? Just curious.
Personally I don't have a preference but if I had to pick one I'd probably pick Uber due to its better UI. I also find the first thing that springs to mind is Uber. Haven't really got into the habit of using/thinking of GoCatch.
@illumination: I use both I guess, I usually open up uber first and more and more often I see a surge pricing. I usually use in the Sydney city and Surry hills.
GoCatch don't have surge pricing they just have peak and off peak rates..
Last Thursday afternoon, Uberx was surged at about 1.9x which was nearly the same rate as the black for the distance I was going to travel.
So far just trying to add in a credit card is a big fail - "failed to contact server" on two different cards…..

I'd say only good for short rides and with a promo code. Just did a fare estimate to the airport. With uber, I usually pay $26-$32. They have quoted $48-58. And I'd still have to deal with a cab driver :< they may even charge credit card fees, etc. Just not interested in paying more for probably crapy service.
