  • Can anyone help me please as I have never use this C&C at WW or Big W ? Basically when the supplier sends the goods, instead of posting it to our address, they gonna post it to WW or Big W ? How do we know if the goods ever arrive there ot what about it is missing there ? Who will be responsible ?

    • Have a read online. It in short - it's very simple. You'll get an email from eBay and sometimes a text message saying your item has arrived. You go to the service counter in the nominated store and show them your email / code / text message / i.d. or whatever and they scan the item and hand it over.

Very simple and convenient if you're not at home to collect.

  • what's to stop someone having their mate put up an item for sale then a friend buy it and then obviously minus fees end up with an ebay voucher and do it in return?

    • Nothing. In fact it seems like a reasonable idea. You just have to find something to sell that you actually have (in case someone else buys it), make it pickup only (discourage other buyers), price it at exactly $300 or $150 buy it now, ideally make it cost a bit more than equivalent items (again to discourage other buyers), and have your mate buy it as soon as it's listed. Then do the same in reverse. A good example item to sell might be a second hand sofa, pick up only, but it now for $300. Then both mark as received and leave positive feedback. You'll pay around 13% in paypal & eBay fees, so will each pay around $39 in fees for a $300 item, and in exchange will get a $100 eBay voucher.

      • +2

Arrghh! The click and collect condition, that's what stops it. You aren't going to take your sofa to woolies. Doh! So please disregard.

    • Should make it an item from one of the categories listed here:
      http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/domestic

So you can use the code C10AUZ for 10% off and recoup some of the fees

      • You will probably find this offer is not applicable with any other deals.

        • Is that mentioned in the T&C's? I looked through but I may have missed it.

Edit: Nvm, found it. I'd only properly looked through the T&C's for this new deal, not the 10% off one :P

Awwww dammit! Just placed an order for 250 bucks! Crap! Too late now… Sigh…

Is anyone having issues finding stuff that is actually woolworths / BigW click and collect? ALl the stuff through that search page for the deal is pretty much target click n collect only?

  • Had a look at revising my own listing (trying to sell off a xbox one 1tb halo edition) and set up click and collect for it, but its not offered. Any ideas? is it the category? or new items only? If I change the category to toys, the c10auz voucher works for it. but just cant get this click and collect. Maybe new listings only?

    • in my account there is a list of settings for it & criteria to be met, if not live chat and get it sorted

  • +1

Please note that the voucher is only valid for November
i.e you have 1 month to spend it

its at the bottom of the terms page

  • Dodgy question, the voucher code that you will receive it is attached to your eBay / Paypal account? Can you give it to someone else to use?

    • it is attached to your eBay account

hahaha at least samsung has admitted it f'ed up, I would rather have the note 7 at least they are being replaced with another phone….but if my G4 dies again (after warranty finished) then I have a brick on my hands….

  • Great spot OP, time to get the strut brace I have been watching for my lady (car)

  • Anyone know how easy it is for an ebay store to change a listing to enable WW & BigW C&C? I just requested this with a seller for a $300 item, a bit of wishful thinking but we will see.

    • It usually appears as an option automatically when they create the listing if they qualify. I am enabled and it just seems to appear when I create listings. I'm not an expert seller by any means though! Maybe ask them to amend the listing, as long as there are no active bidders and see if they can activate it?

      • OK thanks. For others trying the same thing - they just replied saying it was not possible due to the size, a ceiling fan is too big for the click and collect requirements unfortunately.

  • -1

Can someone confirm it works for pccg?

    Jeebus

In Nelson Bay, Port Stephens NSW the closest click and collect store is a Big W 45km away in Raymond Terrace.

There is a big new Woolworths (less than a year old) in Nelson Bay, and another 3km away in Salamander Bay, but neither offer C&C.

    That sucks.

    • +2

Oh. I thought all Woollies and Big W's offered Click and Collect! This is ridiculous.

    • 80km each way for me. No complaints here. I live in regional NSW and have a 2 hour each way trip next week for my son's medical appointment.

  • +1

Any experience with previous deals like this using an eBay voucher? Groupon currently have $100 eBay vouchers going for $85: https://m.groupon.com.au/deals/ebay-3

    • good question. Anyone knows if we can use the groupon voucher in conjunction with this promotion?

    • I was about to ask the same question, I have two that I need to use.

      • -1

        From the T&C's-

No.11- Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay or PayPal coupon/voucher.

        So I would say No.

        • where did you get that from? Clause number 11 is

You will only receive a voucher if you have signed in to your eBay account prior to checkout; any purchase made using guest checkout is excluded from this offer.

        • @blablabla23: 17. Voucher is not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay coupon/voucher. Sadly no :(

        • +5

@LazzHaxx: that's for the voucher you receive after this promotion. I believe our question (or at least mine) was: can we use ebay's $85-for-$100 deal towards our $150/$300 purchase, and still be eligible for the $50/$100 voucher?

        • @blablabla23: My bad, in that case, I don't see any restrictions on the usage of vouchers.. tbh no idea

        • @blablabla23: +1 I would also like to know about this. And not just for the groupon deal but any coupon/ voucher used for the intial purchase

        • @krazek:
would also like to know for groupon deal

        • The problem is that we don't get the voucher straight away, so if we use our groupon vouchers we run the risk of missing out. I'm not sure if you get a qualifying email after the purchase. If we do, all we need is a test dummy to clear things up.

        • +2

@heal: In previous voucher deals ive used the groupon voucher and I got the voucher off later too.. but use at own risk

        • Thanks for sharing @Turd! Hopefully works this time too!

  • Maybe I'm getting a bit dense in my old age - but the offer seems to refer to "one transaction".

Does this mean one item, or is it possible to have multiple smaller items in the one transaction?

    • refer to clause 7 above (or 10 in the T&Cs). Multiple items may be purchased in one transaction (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).

6k clicks, what everyone is buying / planning to?

    • +1

      Still thinking…

    • 6k?

      • (6645 clicks)

        • 7k+ at the time of this post. All lurkers…

  • +2

Sorry to be negative but not too many sellers/items are available with click and collect through woolworths/bigw, I have been more looking in the alcohol space and dan murphys click and collect is not included in this deal

    • +1

I would say a deciding factor for sellers is having to meet weight & height dimensions (16 kg max and no bigger than 50x41x34 cm)

  • Yes very few click and collect options. Just checked 20+ items on my watch list and nothing available for click and collect.

    • +1

There is size and weight limit for Click and Collect so not all items can use it.

Are there any size and weight limits for Click & Collect?
Yes. The maximum parcel weight is 16kg and the maximum parcel dimensions are 41.2cm x 50cm x 36cm, including packaging. If you're selling items over these limits, make sure you've stated this in your listing or opted out these listings. Any items that are too large may be rejected at Woolworths and disposed of.

  • struggling for ideas ;(

    • -1

Maybe learn a new skill, do a TAFE course, play a new sport or join a club.

  • Please find me a Nutri Ninja (more than $150) which is click & collect at WW/Big W in Western Sydney
    Ta
(I tried but only got pickup option at Bing Lee or GG)

I don't understand all this excitement. Who is going to buy $150 worth of groceries that will go bad in 3 days and whats so thrilling about a $50 voucher?

    • +7

      I do hope you're trolling. :)

    • I don't get it either.
      700 votes is insane.
Edit: It's because it's site wide and not just purchases from Woolworths and Big W.

I'll add it in! ANy suggestions?

Hey guys with regard to the 10% code "C10AUZ", does anyone know if it would be safe to use without the risk of being disqualified for the voucher? I have perused both this post and the eBay T&Cs in detail and no where did it explicitly mention along the lines of "not to be used with any other eBay offer" etc.

Whereas on the 10% eBay T&Cs page does mention (clause 15) "Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher. Only one redemption code can be used per transaction."

    • Whereas on the 10% eBay T&Cs page does mention (clause 15) "Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher. Only one redemption code can be used per transaction."

that's probably because ebay doesn't allow vouchers & codes to be stacked. My guess is since you're automatically qualified or disqualified based on spend (i.e. no need for promo code), it really doesn't matter what you use as long as your minimum spend is $150/$300.

      • I am aware of that but say your items make up a total of $180, if you could apply the 10% discount it brings down to $162 + you are still qualified for the $50 voucher. I think technically eBay does not state otherwise, this is probably doable.

    • Can you use the c10auz on sellers from overseas im after something and put code in basket and worked but i thought it said australian sellers?

      • Australian sellers only mate. Clause 4 …new items listed by Aussie Sellers in Selected Categories on eBay.com.au

        • Then why does code work then?

        • @bwatt99: Then good for you lol. Perhaps it only applies to the items offered locally in your cart?

        • @sky blu:

          Nothing else in cart

  • +1

struggling to find many sellers that offer ww c&c.
the ones that do seem to have jacked up their prices or are much more expensive than bricks n mortar stores
eg new cod game on xb1 $79 at jb hifi and $82+ on ebay
    ps4 pro $549 jb/ eb is 589 at gamesman ebay c&c
im not sure its worth the hassle for $70 overall saving - harder warranty issues/ returns, potential damage in transit, longer wait time, stuffing around with voucher which may not arrive in time/ ebay might not deliver and then having to spend the $100 voucher on another item.

im sure the deal will be great for some tho

  • can I use my groupon credit and pay the remaining with paypal and still qualify?

  • +1

Can you buy 2 items, from 2 different sellers to make up the $300, both with Click and Collect?

    • Yep, just need to pay in one transaction.

      • +1

So if one item is $279 and the other is $40, from 2 different sellers, this will work?

        • I would like to know this too

        • @iforgotmysocks: Using math the total is $319 so according to point 7 in the description that would work as long as they both comply with point 1.

        • I'm a little hesitant. Might need the official word from ebay support.

        • @28Degrees:

Questions was more around what defines a transaction?

If you are buying two items from two different sellers (or two items from the same seller) then wouldn't this be two different transactions?

Or another way, does the item need to be at least $300 to get the $100 voucher

        • +1

@iforgotmysocks: Point 7 explains it clearly, so add items to your cart to reach the desired amount and the multiple purchases become one transaction.

        • +2

Confirmed with ebay support. Its ok to buy 2 items, from 2 different sellers to make up the $300, both with Click and Collect.

        • +1

          @28Degrees:

Thanks 28 degrees you are a unique snowflake

  • I notice that Myer is listed under Fashion but there is no option to click n collect from big w or ww. Am I still qualified to get the voucher ?

    • Of course not.

  • Looking for a Ti Nspire CAS calculator for my child's maths. Usual price $219 on ebay Officeworks.

Sure enough, some WW click and collect ones have now appeared at $362.60!!

Can't be bothered with these scams !!
