      Buy and "return", $100 profit.

      • +1

That's fine if you are paying the postage for an agreed change of mind style return, just pure crap if you intend to gyp the sellers for postage both ways and fees by pretending there is a problem when there is not.

        • +1

No I meant in response to sell crap from myself to myself.

        • +1

          @minty:
          Oh I understand now.
Risky business if you get caught by Ebay. I think you would get a lifetime ban for that. Not that I care about eBay, they deserve all they get.

  • +4

    Excludes SA/WA

Wow so Tasmania gets included and they don't… harsh.

  • +2

Now we just need a cheap nexus 6p or samsung s7 edge deal to come up, and I'll be cheering.

    • I hear Samsung Note has good deals going

      • +3

heh yeah I heard they were having a fire sale (I'm probably not the first one to make this joke lol)

    • Same boat - Galaxy S7 (not edge)

  • -6

    I hope , i have got it correct .

    Optimize cashflow :-

    Spend 150 - 50 coupon
    Spend 300 - 50 voucher - 100 coupon

    Net result :- $450, cashflow out is $400 - $100 coupon - $300

make it into a loop if you want …

    • +4

purchase need to be made between 18-24 Oct, and the voucher is issued 1 Nov, so can't do what you suggested.

  • does this stack with the commbank $250 cashback?

    • what is that?

      • apply for a low rate card. and spend $500 before 31st of December to receive a $250 cashback.

        • +2

you should make the payment via paypal. yes you can link your cba card to the paypal to get this

        • -1

@Saanch: But CBA might not consider PayPal payment as an 'eligible' expense to get him $250 cashback.

        • @virhlpool:

What makes you think they wouldn't?

        • @jas0nt: It's a direct debit from card. Not a swipe or tap or online. I am not sure though.

        • @virhlpool: I got a CBA card a while back for the $250 cashback deal and it worked fine buying wish giftcards via cashrewards. All it needs to be is a purchase and not cash advance/tax payment etc.

        • @JIMB0: I am referring to spending amount using PayPal wherein PayPal draws money automatically from your card upon any purchase. I guess you are referring to something else.

        • +1

@virhlpool: As long as it comes out as a purchase (which it does with paypal) it will be fine.

is this offer funded by woolworths. Now they are trying to get people to their stores to collect parcels and then buy something while you are there.

    • I couldn't see them paying the whole $50 just to get someone into their store, I'd say eBay would be funding most of it.

    • +6

I hope not. I collect at Big W and the pick up area is unstaffed. There's a button to press to call someone over. I pressed it every minute for about 15 minutes, not a single person responded. Though I saw a lot of other staff walking past to clock on probably, but they all ignored me.

      The service is terrible.

And it's happened more than once.

I would never use C&C unless there was some incentive.

      • +4

Last time they offered it I remember waiting an extra 10 minutes for someone who knew the code to process the C&C.

        It was 1234.

      • +1

Interesting, but I did it a week ago and someone was there immediately, scanned my barcode on phone and went and got it from the back and I was gone in 60 seconds.

      • +1

I collect at Big W a few times, they are getting better. They scanned my phone and then brought out the item quickly.

        • -1

They weren't short staffed. At least 6 staff members walked passed me during my wait, all of them seeing that I was waiting for service but no one even bothering to call someone over to help me. They were staffed, believe me. But they just cbf taking the call.

I ended up going to the store entrance and getting someone to page somebody over. Something I should have done in the beginning.

This has happened about 5 times now.

  • +5
    • Well spotted. I'll hold them to that.

    • +3

Looks like someone forgot to update the graphics from last year

  • +3

Hope my Low Rate Commbank credit card comes before Tuesday. Then if I spend $500 I'll get another $250 back! It's win win

  • -8

This for me is a pretty meh deal as far as the eBay deals go, nearest BigW is 45min round trip and none of the nearby woollies do it, couple that with a very limited range and just not worth it for me, YMMV but I'm not gonna waste my time again with this one.

  • +1

    Hope there are some bargains

    • +14

I'm left in a dilemma, not sure if I should feed my family or buy stuff I will probably never use… decisions.

      :P

      • +7

Why don't you buy stuff that your family could use to feed themselves. Maybe a fishing rod to catch fish or a pitchfork so they can grow some corn. That way you've bought stuff you don't need and your family is fed.

        • +1

Thanks, got the fishing rod, good thing it's a global version so it supports Band 28. I prefer eating the pitchfork though. Cheers…

        • @stuhtb:

          But the deal starts tomorrow

        • +1

          @easternculture: I thought it started at [Unconfirmed]…?

    • +1

We'll see plenty of bargains in 2 days time when everyone starts posting ebay deals.

  • +2

    Could get a Dyson DC58 for effectively $200 - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Dyson-DC58-Animal-Handheld-Va…
..Or actually the good guys with 20% off is just as good.

  • +4

i reckon WA and SA will be included, just an old image

Click and collect is available for WA ..

    • +4

my fingers are crossed so tightly i may need help untangling them.

  • Moto G4 plus 32 GB now $399 at Mobileciti, hence will get the $100 voucher ?

    • +21

That depends. Is 399 a bigger number than 300?

  • +30

As usually, who ever wants this deal but can not get into it for some reasons. I am happy to help… Did this in the past and happy to do it again.
You place an order under my name to my nearest WW and will pick up the order and post it to you as the method you prefer (you pay the postage fees). PM if you like to do that.

  • If and only if it is valid for WA. Sigh…

  • Hey everyone
    Question
Can you use the vouhcer to buy a gift card?

I want to make a 300 purchase for example and get the 100 and turn it into cash somehow since i dont need anything especially before the expiry date
Plus thegifr cards on sale i would probablt buy something i dont need.

Could i buy a dans or woolworrhs gift card with the voucher?
    Do they even sell them?
I guess i could also buy a slightly rare note close to face value and spend it

    • Dude the t's and c's clearly say no gift cards or currency, it's literally written just there ^^^.

      • +1

im referring to buying a gift card with the actual voucher you receive later,

        • +1

if I remember correctly, I don't think there are any restriction for using the voucher……

  • -1

What if there is no Click & Collect in posting options?

    • +3

Then you won't get the vouchers. Simple as that

  • +1

Looks like eBay has updated the page and is possibly including SA and WA based on this image

  • Can't think of anything I could purchase for over $150 or $300.
Need some good deals from ozBargainers :D

    • Gunnars computer glasses to let you Oz bargain in style and beat the competition!

  • Sweet! Got my LEGO order sorted. Effectively a 30% discount :-)

Although the Woolworths Click and Collect Process is crap, so I might try Big W this time.

    • Usually un-attended at BigW. So just be patient
But yes, should be empty compared to Woolies, if you go on a weeknight

    • +1

How do you get 30%? When max anyone can get is 25%.

  • +2

    Any deals on ipad iPhones?
Any deals on games or XB1 S or PS4Plus?

  • -2

Whats the point if you can't stack the code with regular ebay discounts?

  • +1

Only thing is expect no refund on voucher if your transaction goes wrong using it

    • I used a code from a few drals ago to purchase from masters, item ended up being oos and lost the code. I will hold my grudge until they close their doors. Lucky for them I got the same downlights at 79% off a few weeks back.

  • -1

    excludes SA fuuuuuu-

    • feelsbadman

    • have you got new information confirming this?

      • I don't believe it said may when I posted this, I'll look it over later tonight.

Edit: at first glance nothing indicates it actually excludes SA?

  • So effectively you get up to 25% off?

    • I don't think you can use the voucher for the initial purchase. Hence, you get max 33% extra money to spend on something else.

      • +9

I think the correct way to look at it, using the higher amount is:
Total required spend: $400 ($300 + $100 all must be spent on eBay)
        Voucher Return: $100
So you spend $300 'real money' to get $400 of goods.
        Maximum saving at perfect $400 spend = 25 %
NB this percentage effectively reduces as soon as your spend total goes over $400.

        • +2

The distinction is that you need to buy at least 2 items and the items need to be certain amounts to get near the 25% discount.

  • +4

Can't see it in the tandC's, but can it stack with the C10AUZ 10% off code? By that I mean for the initial order

    • +1

I was hoping that it could be stacked but maybe this clause would exclude it,

      1. Voucher is not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay coupon/voucher.
      • +1

That's in reference to the voucher that you get from this offer.

        • +1

Oh yes, that makes more sense.

    • I wonder if they will end the C10AUZ promotion before starting this one…

      • Hmm… I'm tempted to buy something now and wait till tomorrow morning to make the payment. But I might just wait it out and see if it stacks.

  • I am still in the dark, So if I buy galaxy S7 from Mobi city ($775), then I get $200 voucher, which I can use for my NEXT purchase within a month? am i right?

  • +2

There's like an eBay deal every fortnight.

    • This is not like an eBay deal, it's the real thing.

    • No every week. No sooner does one end, another starts.

  • +2

Off topic - Anyone sign up for that eBay deal where you sell a phone and get a $50 voucher? Got the voucher yet, as I havent.

    • Yes just received mine.

      • Ah thanks for letting me know. Hopefully in the next few days then.

  • I could do with the money right now

  • -2

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/122181375366 anyone find this a bargain ?
With $100 voucher, it bring the price to $460.

    • Wasn't it $440 with the good guys deal? Minus the sd card though.
