If they were, they certainly wouldn't buy this shit that's been rotting in a warehouse somewhere for the past 26 years.
Cassettes can sound really good, but hipsters buying this junk deserve what they get when they first use it. It's like expecting the same sound quality as a Sony Hi-Fi system from a rubbishy CD player from a $2 shop.
Built in speakers! 12 year old me would have given anything for a walkman with built in speakers
Dynamic stereo Speakers lol
Plus it has Turbo written on the head band, that would have been a major selling point as well lol
I don't remember the specifics, but im somewhat sure Sony made one
Does it still have a head phone jack?
I see what you did there lol
They just lack courage.
Courage didn't exist in the 80's
Courage didnt exist until Apple invented it.
Anzacs going over the top? Nah. Anne Frank? Who?
Tim Cook, Jony Ive, that's courage.
Says it won't ship to Australia?
complete checkout. Disregard that message and choose amazon as seller
explains the sudden jump in price
How is this a bargain!
What are these for? Freaking out kids who've never heard of a walkman? Or is it for punishment? "Now little Timmy, you know the drill. If you don't stop hitting your sister I'm going to take away your phone and replace it with this and an ABBA cassette tape!"
Woah, graphic EQ
These are great for playing Van Halen and pretending you are Darth Vader from the planet Vulcan.
You'll need a radiation suit though. Unfortunately, I could only find hazmat suits for sale.
Is that a Devo suit?
I love the comment section :)
Will this pick up all Australian FM channels?
From memory only some of the frequency crosses over, I've bought car stereos from overseas before that have had this problem.
The manual says 88-108MHz.
Do hipsters still listen to tapes for the "superior" sound?
