      Any idea if the coffee is any better? That new model appears to just have Bluetooth - surely that in itself isnt worth an extra $500?

    Apart from being better in every way, if you factor in the machine's lifetime and being able to buy beans as opposed to pods it will likely even be cheaper over the life span, this assumes you actually use it. My similar (next level down) from a few years back has now done over 7000 coffees (3650 coffee's + 3550 shots), seen as though I bought it 2nd hand quite cheap with only showing about 30 coffee's in the statistics means it has worked out way cheaper than a pod machine, the person who I bought it from however and didn't really use it must have had 30 of the most expensive coffees known to man when purchase and sale prices were taken into consideration. If you have the money and will use it go for it.

  I own this machine, paid $2200 nearly 3 years ago, it's been brilliant. 3500 cups made and has just had its first service.
