    Both those Computers……suck.

Refresh and you can see now.

    Let the price increases begin

    • +24

I wish I could +1 this more than once. I'm sick of "ebay specials" being the same price as normal because of sellers bumping up prices. I've actually been keeping an eye on a certain seller and have been recording proof of them doing this, if they do it again, I'm reporting them to the ACCC. Hopefully they'll get a hefty fine like Kogan did.

      • +2

Kogan got fined? Aren't they still doing it?

        • +12
        • +2

"Cost of doing business" is best how to describe it (when the penalties are clearly insufficient). One would think they could at least keep it on the down-low and stick to RRP rather then selling well above RRP.

    • +5

mobileciti at least keeps it the same price :)

    • +13

and let the hundreds of mindless upvotes begin before any bargains are found

  • +7

isnt the 20% off still active and you dont need to click and collect?

    • +1

Yes but some stores in this list are not included in the current 20% off.
Also C&C could be part of the push to use C&C at Woolworths stores etc….hope its not the actual vendor themselves.

edit. Its a mix of both by the looks of it.

    • What's the difference between 20% and 15%; in a 20% sale retailers jack up prices by 15%. In a 15% off sale retailers jack up prices 10% same discount either way.

  • +13

I hate the click and collect.. had nothing but bad experiences where packages were lost and delayed

Went to the BIGW in Richmond to Click and Collect and had to return later because the doors weren't opening on the locker.

      • +13

        Staff had forgotten combination: 1234

    • +4

Click and collect is the worst. Staff usually have no idea and take forever. Easy way to waste 30 minutes.

    • +1

The Big W Lay-by desk is unstaffed. You press a button to call them and have no idea if they heard it or not (you can't hear it yourself). End up waiting 15 mins pressing it multiple times before someone finally gets to you.

That was my experience a few times.

    • the woolies C&C cant work out that they need to scan the item as picked up, twice i've had to contact ebay to get them marked as collected as ebay keep sending me reminders to pick up something that i already have

  • +5

$28.90 for Just Cause 3 PS4/XB @ Target is pretty nice!!

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Just-Cause-3-PS4-/17201742865…

    • Even with the shoddy frame rate, great game!

      • Yeah, AFAIK framerate issues persist even this long after release, so: fun game, but buyer beware…

  • Is the search not working properly yet?

    • +1

Not really. The whole thing isn't working well. If you search you get Bing Lee and a couple of others only. If you click on the Bing Lee link it takes you to an RRP Bing Lee store that has no items. Many of the other links don't work at all. The Target link seems to be missing many items that are actually in the Target ebay store. It's all a bit too buggy right now.

  • Ah bugger it, been holding off building a PC going to bite the bullet if there's a decent deal on. Looking to spend $1k hoping PCByte pulls through with good selection.

    • let us know if you find anything

    • +10

Be warned they will allow you to purchase items that they do not have in stock. You will contact them to find out why you haven't received the items and they will advise they are not in stock. You will visit the ebay listing to find it is still up and listing the same items as being in stock.

I was warned on the last ebay deal and didn't feel there was enough solid information provided to justify their negative reputation. I was wrong and got stung. You're young and still have your youth, don't make the same mistakes I did. Act now before it's too late!

    • i'd personally rather spend the money at pccg or msy, pay and have your parts in 1-3 days.

      • Yeah going through local as I used the 20% discount at Futu and PC Byte still dearer.

PC Byte have always lost or taken ages, Futu I always receive the next day from Sydney > Brisbane which is awesome!

  • Just bought a keyboard from PCByte yesterday. Selfishly, I'm glad these codes can't be stacked.

  • +1

No idea what the retailers are

Surely you have heard of Bing Lee before

    • +4

      "Lionel… you are a loser"

      "Mum…"

      Repeat.

    • +4

Nah, here in New Zealand we use google.

    Galaxy S7 deal?

    • +35

      That's not how OzBargain works.

  • +2

Could be the first deal on a note 7? Bing Lee has them listed.

    • i wish 256gb card was also included in that price, too high prices for Note series this time.

    • I saw a Note 7 listed in MobileCiti this early morning but it is sold/unlisted at the moment.

      • only one left in mobiciti store (black version) and I am sure it will also be gone as soon as the code is active lol. We are out of luck in this deal, maybe at least I will wait for next deal (hopefully 20% off one)

Edit: Mobiciti last unit is also sold

    • Too bad it's C+C for people who don't live in NSW.

      • +1

you can C+C from your bigW as well

    Cmon Cheap TVs!

  • Myer has done 15% off for iphones earlier ..
I hope iphones are included this time..

  • Waiting for Masters 20 off… hasn't been one for a while

    • Fair bit of 20% off in the catalog this week. I was just checking it out this morning.

      • Cool, waiting for a while to get a babyQ hotplate

  • Does anyone know if you can use myer giftcards @ myer ebay store cos if so i will go & buy some at woolies & get the bonus 10% ww dollars ?

    • +1

No. And you will have to use PayPal to apply offer code at checkout.

  • +3

These are the retailers behind the search on the page:

    • thegoodguysaustralia
    • binglee
    • masters_home_improvement
    • rays_outdoors
    • bcf-boating-camping-fishing
    • tarocash_official
    • cincottachemist
    • Could just be in progress though

    • +1

I need something from good guys and even though they're not confirmed to be in this sale, I might wait for a 20% since they're relatively common.

    • The search box isnt on the page anymore so they must be putting it together atm

  • +7

There's a 10% off deal on Appliances Online eBay which just went live. Couldn't find any bargains but code is CAPOL10 for anyone who is interested.

  • hmm the 20% off is still a better deal and has games

  • +13

Oh great, PC Byte is doing another promotion - these guys are the best! Looking forward to not getting my items for a couple of months while they wait for their supplier and play with my money.

Also super glad because I really need a 600W PSU but 220W would still work so if they claimed to ship me a PSU named 600W that was actually a 220W PSU that'd be just GREAT.

They're really not running a scam, truly! The last 6 months of eBay feedback doesn't show that, not at all.

    • +2

Oh no. I hope this doesn't happen with my keyboard. I thought they were reputable, but 177 negative feedback in 6 months is huge.

      I ordered a Daskeyboard 4 MX Blue.

What's the bet if they don't have it they'll try to get me to take an MX Brown or something

      • +1

Ordered the same keyboard from them. It was fine. They even cancelled the order when the discount wasn't applied properly so I could order it again.

        • +1

I got a shipped notification earlier this afternoon 😎

        • And they've sent me the version designed for Mac. FFS. So irritating.

    • -2

Isn't PC Byte owned by OzBargain?

      • ??

      • No OzBargain doesn't own or have any involvement with any retail store. PC Byte have just have a similar company name to OzBargain only. See here for explanation from the rep.

        • +2

          Thanks for the explanation!

  • +2

Dammit I'm trying to not spend money at the moment! Oh how I both love and hate you ozbargain

    • Ozbargain is my frenemy

  • +5

The webpage has been removed. Thankfully I made an archive of it

  • Any idea when this deal will be active?

    • No

  • Further proof on this page

    • +1

Also the Target page shows a banner.

      • Cheers. Bing Lee doesn't have a banner though.

  • -1

Because i'm lazy, if any where would be the cheapest place to purchase the Note 7 from using this code?

    • only binglee has it for $1349 + $9 delivery fee so you will get it around $1158, mobiciti has only one left and I am sure it will be gone soon so please do not consider it unless mobiciti re-stock them and in that case, you will get it around $1109

Edit: Mobiciti last unit is also sold

      • Thanks for the advice, i guess i'll wait a bit longer haha

  • +5

PC Byte is listed as one of the stores currently participating in the 20% off coupon deal. For what i see all of the stuff has free postage too.

Futu Online is also participating in the 20% off.

Now would be the time to buy from those stores instead of this upcoming 15% off.

    • Thanks for reminding me!

    • I understand that I may have experienced a random bug but just a heads up for anyone that may spend a lot of time browsing through and picking and choosing different parts from Futu Online - last time I tried to build a pc (same time as my story about PC Byte in my comment further up this page)I found that on checkout I got an error saying "This seller only allows buyers to purchase 1 item every 10 days". Contacted Futu and they said "some items we don't allow buyers to purchase more than one of at a time. Did you have two of the same item in your cart?" "No I didn't and the error message from ebay explicitly states my order was denied because I was buying more than 1 of ANY item within 10 days" and then they came back with effectively "better luck on the next sale".

  • -5

Get 35% off with code CHOICE20CART15!

    • combining 2 discount codes do not sum the discount percentage lol

      • No, the correct thing to do would be to multiply them together! If only.

  • Will masters be in this one?

    • Probably from what I saw before the page was removed.

    • +2

No - Masters eBay store now closed.
