    Yay!

    Really ? What for ?

  • I guess its something for people who cant get the 70,000 point card which requires a 75,000 annual income.

    • requires a 75,000 annual income

      News to me ;)

    • What card is that? (The ANZ FF Black is $425 in 1st year)
Are they FF points ? or just ANZ "Reward" points…whatever they are

      • It's FF points, its an amazing deal for those who dont want the amex deal.

  • Do you get complimentary lounge access on this?

    • Nope.

  • Why u get this when u can get 75k points w no annual fee?

    • +1

Because that card needs minimum of $75,000 annual income and the deal w/ no annual fee isn't on anymore. Annual fee is now $375.

      • It'll be back

No annual fee until yesterday, they changed it yesterday. No deal :)

    • I know- so frustrating! I was looking to ditch my current card to get one of these. The annual fee not being waived for the first year is another $95 bank profit.

And there are additional cardholder fees too, so they make $150.

    • Damn, I had that tab open for a week now - wanted to sign up to get the first year free. Why did I wait… :(

  • Anz recently reduced the reward points from 3 points to 2 points per dollar on Amex and 1.5points to 1 point per dollar on visa cards. Their rewards are also expensive compared to others. ( 22000 points for $100)

    • The Platinum is 1:1. But it's still one of the highest ones for a platinum Visa/Mastercard. Yeah, the rewards aren't that good if your main purpose is to redeem for gift cards, but if your main purpose is to redeem for flights its pretty much the best option considering:
      - Very low $95 annual fee
      - Flexible flight programs
      - Good transfer ratios

  • Im using the anz frequent flyer platinum cards and they're pretty good so far, got the 50k points offer for qantas ff back in 2013 and flights one way from syd - melbourne or GC is like 8000 points + $20-$40 in taxes

AMEX is like 1.5:1 ratio for $ spends and 0.5:1 ratio for visa spends, finding it pretty good so far :) Managed to get free annual fee since i'm with ANZ and have a home loan through them

You also get free QBE travel insurance and free Qantas club bronze membership

    I recommend :)

  • Is this the best credit card/reward offer for people with under 75k income?

EDIT: Is it 50k anz reward points of 50k QFF points?
