Maybe, but keep in mind it is coming up to EOFY so that could be the reason for the constant sales. :)

      • +1

        EBay is essentially becoming steam

  • +7

    I'm broke already, no thanks.

  • +1

that Mac store only has three listings, kinda odd to be an included store?

  • +2

All these 20% off sales are good for my new PC build! Let's hope there's tonnes of bargains :D

  • +3

you would be a brave buyer spending $50 on a lucky dip http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mystery-Box-Bag-Lucky-Dip-/231759…

    • +3

do you want to buy all the random over priced crap we can't sell should be the title

    • +1

oh man look at that 42x5px picture of Lois from Family Guy. Copyright doesn't matter, right?

  • Pretty sure there was another 20% off ebay sale ended yesterday, now comes another one

  • +10

no-one should be plus voting until they actually see the deals active. prices may increase on the sale date, or any good items removed from sale.

    • Excuse my ignorance but who wears the 20% discount. Why would one of these retailers remove an item from sale if eBay are "bearing the brunt" of the discount.

      • Because we live in a world where idiocy is the norm.

      • eBay does not bear the cost.

They may offset some, but that's unlikely.

  • would any of these (mostly junk) stores have an Apple pencil or keyboard for an iPad Pro?

  • Where do I put the name of a specific item to search for it amongst all the stores?

    • "Link to search all participating stores" in OP.

      • +1

Yes, but that doesn't have a spot where I put what I'm looking for?

        • Yeah, it's really unclear. Use the main search box at the top, it'll keep the store filter when you search.

        • +2

          doesnt work on mobile devices

        • @lawyerz: use request desktop site and it will work

        • +1

          @lawyerz:

          Chrome .. Request desktop site.

  • +1

sigh as usual most computer part prices are the same as buying direct from other vendors.
    999 for a gtx 960? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Gigabyte-GTX-960-2GB-N960OC-2GD-/…

    • +5

lol! wth is pc byte smoking.
      must be a price error

    • +1

I've seen stores jack prices up to $9999 when they're out of stock for an item. Might be what's happening here?

    • +1

So I was eyeing off the pre-built systems on pcbyte for a mate. There was like 100 of them online. Now all but one gone.

These sales are becoming such a let down.

      • nvm site error

  • +4

Wireless1 keeps jacking up the hyperx clouds :(

    • +2

Same here I wanted to buy some Sennheiser headphones since last year then Wireless 1 and Futu Online do the price jacking.

  • +1

Ausluck is a good seller for Australian stock apple products. Got an iPad from them before.

    • Are they Australian models? I'm looking for an I-phone and I noticed quite a lot of people cancelled their first orders when Kogan had their recent sale because the phones didn't have the right bands or something? I see that the warranty is 2 years so they sound like Australian models comparable to what I could buy full price from the Apple Store.

      • +1

The iPad I bought was Australian. The listing should tell you so. Kogan generally only sells overseas models.

      • +1

Just my iphone 6s 128G gold delivered from Kogan yesterday
It comes with 1 year international apple warranty from day it delivered to my hand, not invoice date
Also shows NOT EXCLUSIVE FROM Australian Consumer Law - not sure what will happen after, but at least it has one year apple warranty and is eligible to purchase apple care plus

And it works perfectly with Vodafone network

    • +1

      Prices higher than rrp

  • Looking forward to 20% off power tools at National Power Tools. Never seen paslode nail guns 20% off before.

    • +7

You just jinxed yourself, be prepared for their prices to jump 25%

      • I've taken screenshots but doubt if that'll mean anything. At least if they do I'll know to keep clear.

      • funnily enough that can be the same price rather than a net price increase. Just nerded out in my head to check.

eg - $100 item jacked up 25% to $125. 20% discount applied afterwards and you are back to $100.

        mind-blown

  • +10

WOW! Mushtato is following Kogan footstep. Most items are expensive at twice the price.

  • Ryda currently having 10% off with coupon

    • Ryda is pretty good with their prices. Should have a few good deals on cameras a few lenses.

    • -1

So 2 negs… I'd love to hear why I'm getting negs? Is that because you would put up with this and prefer this type of transaction?

      • +4

It's because you use iOS and was stupid enough to buy a product for Android phones.
I have bought many products from this shop. Mostly power banks. No issues

        • +1

You're on fire mate, OTT much?

        • -2

          @justin_tsoi:

ehhh…this is the interwebs. There is no room to be nice.

    • Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm actually planning to buy the xiaomi powerbank off mushtato soon based on the (mostly) positive feedback from this site.

Re your xiaoyi camera, i bought it recently but for android, it's the chinese model but there's adequate documentation and guides on the interwebs to get it working without any trouble.

Your comment "only worked if you were connected to the same wifi signal for the camera and your phone to monitor, so basically its a baby monitor in the home - which is not what i was looking for, more to use it when i'm out to monitor the home" - I confirm you can use the camera to monitor your home, even when you are out and about. You are using the official app?

    • +4

I dont know anything about that product specifically, but usually to access a device in your home remotely you need to forward the right port from your router. However its not Mushtato's job to guide you through that process.

    • +2

Mate, you have learned a valuable lesson and get smarter next time. Not just MUSHTATO, there are many other sites are selling cheap gadgets and often the sellers have very little technical knowledge about their products. My advice to you is to email them before hand with a bunch of questions first.

      Example:
Will this product work with my Apple model # phone?
Can I get a full refund or store credit if it doesn't work?
Explain what you want the device to do and how?

You also need to ask questions on Whirlpool forum, those experts are not biased and will give you some honest opinions. The reviews and comments from this site just take it as a gram of salt. Just ignore the negs, I get over hundred negs per day by telling people to shop smart and don't be a fool.

Groupon still sells the discounted Ebay vouchers.
Most likely we can combine both deals to make further savings.

    https://www.groupon.com.au/deals/ebay-au

    • +8

You can't combine vouchers and promotion codes.

  • +7

Great to see tools included, but I'd stick to the brand-name stuff. I'm cautious about buying cheap generic/unbranded tools from small eBay sellers. With cheap tools you tend to get what you pay for and the failure rate is typically fairly high. If something goes wrong it can be a hassle to return them.

  • +5

Not active yet, got to give the stores some time to raise prices…

    • +3

I think they already have.. Looked at some MB's and CPU's on Futu online, even with the 20% off they're still more than MSY's standard price/s.

    • +2

yup, had set of headphones in my watch list for a few days.. gone up $35~ lmao deletes from watchlist

  • Any good deals on gaming desktops available?
Thanks for the help guys if you have any suggestions.

    • +1

the pre-built ones from pcbyte look well priced

  • +2

The last 20% ran for 10 days.. If this follows the same it may run from Thursday the 16th. I hope not though, I really need to buy some things before I go away on the 21st :(

  • OP, since you're marking previous participants, I believe Bit Deals was in the last one too

    • Cheers, post updated.

    iPhone 6s 128G Grey

    Look at this
    * ebay normal price = $1,379.00
    * after 20% off = $1,103.20
    * normal price (according to sale history)= $1,179.00

    tricky

    • Maybe, although the price has been there for at least a week.

  • Got my eye on this Quiet, fast 3TB Drive- 3TB Toshiba 3.5" 7200RPM 6Gb/s SATA Hard Disk Drive TOSH-DT01ACA300 -$116 Shipped. Cheapest price I have seen.

    • +2

Not bad. Think I paid $124 a little over a year ago in a 20% off sale. Got a few, have been using in my NAS.

  • So everyone is waiting ?

  • +14

Managed to talk to someone on live chat who confirmed it will start working on Monday the 13th at 10am AEST.

"Okay, in that case I request you to please wait till June 13, because this offer is new and on June 13, it will start working properly."

  • +1

    thanks for sharing

  • +9

They need to do another 20% off everything and get cash rewards back to 5%

    • That would be great as I like buying stuff from random sellers instead of just the big stores. More options.

  • +1

    20% off Tech & Tools

Does that mean some categories are excluded from the sale? Or is it just the theme of the sale?

  • +2

    any store for samsung phone?

      • 152 results for Samsung in 'mobile phone' from your link has the seller phoneinc_digital. I could not see it in the the participating stores list.

My LG G4 has boot loop problem and I want to get the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, like, tomorrow ….

        • +1

Not all results are from that seller (there's also Wireless 1 and a couple others - look like no name stores apart from Wireless 1), however Phone Inc Digital is listed in the OP as a participating store.

        • -1

          @hamza23:
Damn… I could not wait for your answer. Got the phone from Costco this morning.

  • +6

Oh man, why Ebay doesn't do 20% off any stores ??? Come on.

    • In that case, eBay will actually take the hit, not the retailers.

      • -1

ebay can take plenty of hits, its not going to make them broke anytime soon and they make more than enough on the listings on site

  • +1

    thanks.

    looking for a samsung s6

  • Nothing against the op, he has done a fantastic job putting this together, but why have so many people blindly + voted on this when it hasn't started yet and there are bugger all examples of deals yet.

    • Agree. Need some deal examples. Suspect this will be a big pile of nothing.

    • I haven't voted yet, but I'm looking for a ssd and HDD. It also looks like I can get sata cables and batteries for cheaper too!

    • True, but the deal has been confirmed. I + voted as I've already saved what I'm wanting to buy and they'll be cheaper than I can get anywhere else.

  • From previous eBay sales do pcbyte up their prices?

    • Not sure on all items, but they often make specific low priced listings just for these events and post on ozbargain

    • +1

      Nope, they aren't kogan.

      • And they're really good.
        Great service and fast delivery.

  • No Bing Lee?

  • +2

anyone suggest a good laptop backpack for a surface pro 4 and heavy uni textbooks from one of these stores?
I need something really strong and reliable. My other bag lasted a year but the contents in my bag was so heavy the zipper started to break and rip.
i think $100 is my max

    • look for Everki bags. Well built and affordable.

  • Looking for new phone like s7 or s7 edge .. Wonder if it's fit into the category ?

  • Hey guys, I'm after a portable replacement for my old-ish DSLR. Am thinking sony a5100 or a6000. Would the Sony DSCRX100 ($759 before sale) or DSCRX100M2 ($899) be a good other choice?
