The Best Deal if you have visitors coming over for a month !

Good deal, but I think $10 for the $30 Telstra SIM packs is better. It's cheaper, and there are enough inclusions on that as it is :)
Unless you've got a really heavy data user coming over….

Oh hang on, the unlimited international calls is pretty damn good..

      • where are these telstra ones available?

  • Bring back those $1 starter packs from Coles Express

    • Dont Forget Cash Rewards

    • Just got one, thanks for the link

  • Can someone confirm this for me:
Do these Vodafone starter packs come with a SIM and a $50 recharge voucher ….
Meaning to say, if I buy 10 of these, can I just use the recharge voucher from them every month and just chuck the SIM out ?

    • Starter credit, not voucher.

  • So is it 3 or 10gb?

  • Can I port a number to these after I get the SIM? And do people just buy several of these, and then just activate a new one each month and port the number (seems like a hassle, but this is OzBargain, so I guess people will do anything to save a $)

Port in and out with every sim. It's pretty quick during office hours, typically 10 minutes for me when porting from telstra/optus to vodafone.

      • So, I'd need a starter SIM or a sim w/ credit from another telco (optus, like a 1.50 a day SIM) then port to Optus, then port back?

        • Yeah any sim will do, doesn't need to have credit on it to port in then out. If you have starter packs from other providers it's easiest since you only need to port from one starter pack to another.

      • I assume this is the same as people who but discount Telstra sim but want to use Freedom plan?

I use to suggest it is a good way of getting cheap rates but like many had said, pain in the ass porting in and out all the time…….

  • Can I use this start kit to activate on the 365 days plan?
