  • EC, do you have any further understanding as to what new customers and first order actually mean in real terms? If you are previous customer, are you excluded?

"new customers" - not currently with Amaysim

If you're currently with Amaysim, simply port out to another provider (preferably on a different network to minimise port time) and you are a "new customer" once more. :)

  • Fairly light inclusions for no play store money or compared with Vodafone direct from phonebot 2x28day 90mins idd select +8GB against optusnet.

  • Any yearly mobile data discounts? $100/10Gb is no better then Telstra $50/5Gb, except coverge & speed is generally worse :-)

It's just that they have a deal for "new customers" (see definition above) every single month (and sometimes several different deals in the same month) and they have been doing it for the last two years or so.

They work on the premise that they can entice new customers with low introductory prices and hope they don't 'churn'.

In all likelihood, if all their customers were OzBargainers, they would probably no longer exist by now…;)
