      • Do you still get the $50 Eftpos card from The Good Guys?

        • not sure about this as I bought it before the eftops deal. try ask them.

        • need to buy before 26/12 to claim the $50 eftpos card

        • @edw0000000:

So does anyone know exactly what is the end price of the camera is now? I'm assuming that the 15% is taken of the full price, then you receive $100 cash back on top?

        • @subywagon: $243 after cash back and cash reward If u c&c.
          251 if delivery

        • @edw0000000:

meh… I was too slow.. about to add to cart and sold out :(

        • @subywagon: back in stock

Kindle Paperwhite 300 DPI - $140 at DSE.

In the unlikely event you missed out before. :)

    • Did anyone get one at $99

      • +2

Nah, that was an error on their advertising. They sent a subsequent email to apologize and fixed it. Someone mixed it up with the Kindle Touch price.

      • Got the one from DSE for $99 for the 3G version.

        • The touch? The Paperwhite was never $99.

        • Nope, the Paperwhite 3G for $99. The wifi version was $79. It was Click and Collect from the DSE sales a couple weeks ago. Not sure if it was a pricing error, but did get it for the price stated.

    • Yep, just did this, I had wanted one, was waiting for either a ebay % off, or DSE sales after NY. Probably wasnt going to beat 15% off, so pulled the trigger.

  • Any good laptop/netbooks deals for travelling (browsing, movies etc)? Good battery, decent screen?

    • I just bought this for the missus: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331679499093

$1999 on the Dell site, $1499 on Dells eBay site, $1275 with the 15% discount.

      • Cheers buddy… though, i mean CHEAP when i say cheap. :)

        • Ahhh, lol….Dell do have some good deals on their eBay site. Some a lot cheaper than that.

What a coincidence, the target $369 Xbox one bundle has suddenly disappeared.

Nothing to buy for me for my needs. I feel don't belong here let alone to 2015. :(

    • +2

I don't think 90% of the deals here are for people's needs, but more for people's wants and impulse buys. :P

    • You can buy me something if it will make you feel like you belong? I have many wants needs! :D

    • +1

You're not alone. We have all the TVs, consoles and cameras we need, and the ones we might consider getting even though we don't need them aren't on special. I don't need UHD on a TV when there's almost no content - might be useful for photography but first I'd have to upgrade my eyes or wear glasses viewing, and the rest of the family can't care less about SD vs UHD. I can't stand overpriced sound bars and again family is happy with built in sound on our TVs. My wife wants an LG G4 but would rather the Telstra warranty and doesn't mind the lockin of a contract. I'm stumped on how to use any of these deals.

  • How do they offer 15% off for sellers. Does this mean eBay buffers the sellers loss?

    • Strictly speaking they only lose 5% because they charge sellers 10% on fees (their revenue). So they can easily buffer a revenue loss for 2 days, but in this instance are probably also losing extra.

    Actually it's grey import.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Sony-Xperia-Z5-E6653-32GB-Bla…

It means you're at the mercy of the store you bought from, who, if they decide to honour the warranty, will either ship it overseas and have it dealt with their or give you a replacement (probably not brand new).

  • i am after a 24" or 25" monitor, eye friendly, a bit of gaming and daily work , anyone can recommend one thats around $200 mark? much appreciated

Seems you can kind double dip with "The Goodguys" and their TV discounts.

Eg. The Hisense 40" UHD LCD

    on GG website says

    Was $795 reduced to $695.

Now on eBay its listed as $695 and then you take the 15% off that which makes it $591

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hisense-40K321UW-40-102cm-UHD-LED…

  • Can I buy from the American Ebay, with 15% off?

      • where in the Cart will it allow you to add the code? If I proceed to checkout will this commit me to the purchase. ie as good as clicking Buy It Now?

        • yes it allows you that.

    • +1

      No mate. Aussie world only.

    • +1

          Out of stock!

        • @Sunford: They've been coming in and out of stock all morning. Keep an eye out, and good luck to you! $260 (after 15% off and $100 cashback makes this an incredible deal).

        • back again…

        • @LaTerrible thanks, bought one, really good price

        • +1

@Sunford: No worries, you'll have a good time with that camera; the body will last for ages as you upgrade the lenses over time. If you're a real newbie but are interested in doing a bit of reading to quickly get up to speed, I can heartily recommend this book:

          http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Exposure-3rd-Edition-Pho…

Otherwise just get out and take loads of pictures!

  • Any good deals on a 1080 home projector?

    • there ware a few good deals, brand EUG.

after googling and read sellers neg comment, deal off for me.

    • I have a $200 one from gearbest. Works great playing files from USB, but I can't seem to get HDMI to work smoothly. Otherwise just buy a $800 benq or something from ebay

      • OW has Acer Fulhd for less than 800…direct from OW online and in store.

    • Depends on how good you want and your budget. Sony HW40es is a nice projector and has great reviews for 3k
The Epson 1070/1080 is a budget projector with bang for buck reviews.
I am considering the Sony HW40es and the Panasonic 8000. Both are good value on ebay with the discount.
I was hoping for a boxing day sale on projectors, but appears nothing special is available like some the large TV that recently have been posted on Ozbargain.

        • for Sont 40es. Great projector. You can get it less than 3k. Ask for best prices for shops or check online.
  • And suddenly the cheapest Nikon D7200 on Ebay (grey market) is $1,136.89, whereas you look on staticice and it's much cheaper. In fact AU stock can be had for $1145 and was on sale recently for $1030.

Not on Ebay but got this from JB(50% off), kills everything in its range.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/227694

      • +1

thanks! the closest JB that has it is 2 hours away :( missed out

      • +1

I bought one from The Good Guys during the 20% sale.

Must say, this is one excellent sound bar for the price.

        PROS:

        • Blueooth
        • 300W output
        • ARC
        • 3 X HDMI input (this is a deal sealer)
        • Good bass

        CONS:

        • Only 2.1

Trust me, those 3 x extra HDMI ports are very very handy when most other sound bars only provide 1 x HDMI input.

  • I wonder if I could add TGG's concierge service after I buy a TV from ebay?

  • Yes I called Nikon they confirmed you can get the $100 cash back

    • How do I do this?

  • Have nothing to buy, damn!

  • how many times can this coupon be used?

    • T&Cs say you can use it twice

  • Who could recommend a wired gaming mouse and headset that's not bank breaking with personal experience with it? Please :)

    • I wonder if you could add concierge service after you buy from ebay? I personally perfer to add extra warranty on TV's

    • This or the Series 7 55" JU7000 UHD from Bing Lee (list price $2095)? Looks to be c$530 more expensive for the upgrade.

    • I bought this yesterday :(. Would have saved $100 had I waited.

Ahh well. Anyway I'm very impressed with it. First 'Smart' interface of a TV I've been honestly impressed with. Very fluid. Comes highly recommended from me
