Didn't get that at first, thought it was a Star Wars comment :-]

  • 2gb ram only, ok? Even My phone has 3gb…
And with window 8.1 means I can install all windows desktop softwares n games I have?

    • +1

Z3735F unfortunately only supports up to 2GB of memory.

      • I didn't know… Had been holding out for the 4GB models… Could have waited a long time!

    • I have this tablet and it runs smoothly with 2GB of RAM. Not suitable for running games like Minecraft unless you tone down the settings. I mostly use mine for Office and RDP.

    • I have a Ployer 8" win8.1 tablet with only 16gb mem and 1Gb ram.
It runs all my software incl my own VB6 apps, and does all Windows can do smoothly enough for mobile use. Just prefer to use a usb hub and mouse most of time.

I don't think any of these tablets suit proper computing, but they do work and are a big upgrade in my opinion from Android for my usage.

  • how is its battery life? anybody who owns one could pls answer

    • 5-6 hrs going general stuff web browsing, video watching etc

  • I want to use the tablet to take notes…. Like a diary… Can someone advise if this one can do it for me and which stylus I should buy.

    • No, don't get anything that doesn't have a stylus support.
Any of those capacitive stylus is simply act like a fake finger, it's not for writing.
Palm rejection support and pressure sensitivity make a huge difference.

Go for something like Dell Venue 8 or Asus Vivotab Note 8 (all Windows tablet), something that has a proper stylus support.
If you want to get an Android tablet with stylus support, Galaxy note series.

      • Thanks AznMitch. Do you have any stylus models in mind ? I am after the real stylus pens and not the rubber head ones.

        • You need a tablet that supports styluses, like Wacom, N-trig or Synaptics styluses, this one clearly doesn't.

        • @AznMitch: yes mate. I got you. But to use with the other tablets, what model of stylus pens would you recommend? I want the real pens and not the rubber head ones. I was looking at Dagi, for example.

        • @rambokid: I have no recommendations, since I know that all capacitative pens are simply like an extension of your finger. It's simply the technology it uses, it uses touch screen and touch sensors on the tablet. I frankly think Dagi or any other capacitiative pens would be clunky and awful compared to a proper active stylus.

        • @AznMitch: thanks mate

        • @rambokid: I was editing my paragraph, but I will continue here.

The two problems I see with those pens are:

          1. You cannot touch the tablet, so you'd need to have your hand hovering above the screen.
          2. The pen have to be relatively upright when you are writing
        • @AznMitch: Thanks again. appreciate the followup advice.

  • Damn bought mine over a week ago for $104usd from gear best and still haven't got it yet after paying expedited shipping

    • Yeah i paid $110usd for mine. DHL only took 2 days to arrive but also would have liked to save some cash. Hopefully a few of you guys do.

  • I'm using it now. I must say I'm very impressed with the performance.
