Funny that they would stipulate a min spend of $20, when you think it would be cheaper for them if the order was less than $20?
To stop people asking for change from their "free" $20 when they order under that.
It'll be hard to justify for businesses to deliver a meal for less than $20. Imagine delivering a 8 dollar kebab across town.
Yes of course, so who is it that gives away this $20? The business, (in that case it would still be better for them to deliver an $8 meal than a free $20 meal) or Delivery Hero or a combination?

Nah, these promo is absorbed by delivery hero. Probably a marketing stunt to grab market shares back from other players like Menulog. Businesses will get whatever price you've ordered, minus any commission component, which is something like 10-15%. I use to own a takeaway joint, just my 2 cents worth.
Last time we used these services, my mom was told to phone order through next time. Dont think they want to pay out commissions.

Cheers all good for me as well, took a bit over 5 minutes but my $1 pizza is on its way.
I placed my order at midday for a 6pm delivery. Payment has been charged to my CC and I have received an email, but no SMS. Going back into my order, it is stuck in "Your order will be forwarded. You will receive an order confirmation e-mail and SMS from us in the next few minutes."
My guess is because the store doesn't open until 5, and they won't receive my order until around then? Guess I'll find out!
Yep that is exactly the case. When they open you will get a confirmation email and a call sometimes.

Can't believe they're doing this again. I thought they'd thrown away their whole marketing budget on the last coupon.
I thought they would've went bust.
Delivery Hero are a German company aggressively trying to get marketshare in overseas markets. If you want to support local companies - Eat Now and Menulog are both Aussie. But if every Ozbargainer used this coupon and never ate from them again you'd certainly put a dent in their budget.
honestly I've now only used Delivery Hero twice - both times with a voucher. I find their restaurant options in my area (where there are a LOT of restaurants!) to be less than half that of Menulog, plus many more on Delivery Hero tend to charge delivery fees and less accept credit card. Menulog is still my go-to :)
