    $16.77

Mine range between $13.83-$16.83 + 9% service fee and free delivery.
Who the hell would pay full price at $28+ 9% for one of these Hungry Jacks meals?

      • +6

        Lazy stoned people

      • It will be cold before you even get it

        • Then you get your money back! win win

    • Yup, mediocre offer. If they'd had a double angus option in the mix, this would have been okayish.

If you're near a Huxtaburger, that has a 40% off code for $40 spend, and you can grab a couple of better quality double burgers (grass-fed patties). If you desperately wanted fried chicken, the same offer applies to their sister store, Dante's.

Example prices would be nice in the description/title.

    • +2

You save about $4 off the menu price in store + $2 from 10% doordash gift card + petrol/time going to store.

That is for a large Brooklyn angus with a shake.

  • +12

The listed price on Door Dash is significantly higher than in-store at Hungry Jacks.

    • +10

Not sure why you got negged. It's true. I can understand them charging a decent delivery fee, I'm fine with that, but for me, its the difference in individual prices compared with in-store that puts me off these apps.

      • +2

I think dumber people can't figure out how much more expensive the individual items are so they just accept it. But a $20 delivery fee is a lot easier for those kinds of people to read.

    • -1

right, but this still comes out to be a several dollars cheaper than in-store, plus essentially free delivery. so definitely a deal.

    • +1

      significantly higher

All the delivery apps are like this, as they take generally a 30% cut on top of the 'fees' they charge you.

I rarely use them, as its cheaper to go pick the food up, plus its hot!

Has anyone had any luck activating their Prime + DoorDash 2 year free offer?
Mine just keeps refreshing back to the original offer page when I try to activate it

    • try disabling adblockers and stuff temporarily

    • Yeah mine worked with no issues.

  • +1

They almost 40% more with deliveries, uber and rest have increased it over years and nobody willing to pay these prices and companies keep complaining they will stop using uber and dash, that explains why huge decline in revenue simple stop using DD/uber

    • that explains why huge decline in revenue simple stop using

What decline? Dash beat revenue and earnings expectations last quarter.

  • Last time, I ordered this, the burgers were overcooked, and Bacon Deluxe was missing.

  • +2

    Stop I'm already too fat

  • Cheers, lunch sorted.

  • +1

My local pubs charge the same price on DD as in real life. Have done it two days in a row using the prime40new code for real steak meals. Not going back to hungry jacks at this price point after that lol Try your local pubs, they probably have some lunch deals going for $16 or something. You have to leave the house but much better food.

    • I know it's not your fault, but your local pubs are significantly hurting themselves charging the same on delivery apps as on their in-venue menu. I'd feel heaps bad ordering from them knowing how these predatory venture-capital apps work.

      • It might seem that way initially, but I’m now a convert and happy to eat in their venue instead of fast food places. A bargain of an advertisement.

    • I’m trying a local pub tonight I’ve been meaning to try for a while
$18 for a burger and chips but the quality will be 100x better than HJ

      • how do you know the quality will be better if you haven't tried it until tonight?

        • I’ve had good recommendations for the pub and the other place is Hungry Jacks

  • Mmm soggy Hungry Jacks

    • The burgers are better at Soggy Jacks

    • With a spatula scrape of mayo on the top bun.

      MMMMMMMMeagh

  • 4% off on Doordash GC through Rewards Gateway.

    • 10% on ShopBack and 20% in-store at CostCo.

  • The question is, Brooklyn Angus or Whopper?

    • +1

got mine delivered. Dasher took 1 hour to deliver my meal after collecting it and made another stop along the way. Food was sitting on the back seat, stone cold. Got a full refund and never eating HJ's again.

  • Cheers, dinna sorted.

  • How come i cant see any tamer meals on website or in app?

    • Go through to the page on doordash app. It's in there.
