There are 3 gens currently. This would be Gen 1 (non retina).
i.e. 1024x768 pixels. rather low for $300. Otherwise it would be a bargain.
I really cannot see the attraction. Either spend the extra $70 for a mini-2 with decent screen res, or get a cheaper Android tablet with Lollipop (coming).
It depends on your software preference, but IMHO IOS and Android are both great now, having fixed their worst compromises.
no mention of Retina so I think it's the old Gen1
I think I'd rather spend $319 for a refurbished mini 2 16gb wifi from apple.
$300 for first gen iPad Mini… Apple stuff really doesn't come cheap.
This hardware is ancient & lags. Much better with a refurb retina mini as already suggested

I've been looking, but haven't seen much better than RRP of $369. Add in a couple of percent off for Cashrewards.
Went with a $319 refurb instead.
IMHO the mini 2 offers the best value in the range, as it has the current chip and retina display, but is $130 cheaper than the mini 3.
