    What?

      SAMSUNG MOBIL

i think what OP is trying to tell us is that samsung have now partnered up with mobil/exxon to sell us fone batteries?

  • provide any detail please.

  • Looks dodgy

    Cheaper on ebay.

    • Got a link please?
      I need a genuine Samsung S3 battery.

I bought two "Original Samsung Batteries" with the samsung logo, and the word original written everywhere in the descriptions, from a Sydney shop on ebay, and was more than surprised when the two serial numbers were the same. They told me to return them if I am not happy and will give a refund. I emailed back saying 'but they are not original as you described', next thing I knew they had refunded the money and let me keep batteries. Rang Samsung but they were not very interested. Would think that's it's easy for them to prosecute the resellers of fake batteries and get them off the market.

    • I bought a "genuine" one from eBay that was much more expensive than the generic ones. Was absolutely useless with only a fraction of rated capacity. Seller refunded immediately upon questioning it's genuineness. I suspect their business model is knowingly sell a generic branded as Samsung for significantly more than a generic, if 20% of buyers bother to complain you refund them and you are still way ahead. I bought an Anker brand and it was great although I had to contact a sales rep on their eBay store before they would ship to Australia.

not genuine. i bought 6 batteries from them before. some have same serial numbers and none of the nfc worked. even though it stated genuine on their website, it is not

    • Yep.. I was sorely disappointed with this mob when they were guaranteed to be genuine and found out it was not. The Note 3 battery is not even NFC capable and that is the main differentiaitng factor between fake and real. The batteries only last 1/2 the time as the real originals you get from legitimate sources. These are also shipped as "loose packing" so dont even expect retail package from it.

  • Edited description, removed the 'genuine' label since it is not confirmed to be a genuine parts supplier.

    • Pretty sure the advertised batteries are Samsung from Australian stock. These guys are usually pretty good with authentic product, although they do also stock compatible products too. Look for the 'Australian Stock' label.

    • If you look at the wording on the actual, there is a level of consistency whereby the word "Genuine" never appears in any of it but is worded as "Original".

Futhermore under the Note 3 batteries it says:

      "Replacement part

Our replacement batteries are 100% compatibility with your Samsung Galaxy Note 3*. We also offer a 6 Months Replacement 'No Questions' Guarantee on all our Mobile Phone batteries.

      Same capacity as original battery

This replacement Samsung battery is basically the same battery that comes in the retail package of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 when bought, so it has the same capacity of 3,200 mAh. With this replacement battery, you basically get the same battery life out of your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as when you first took it out of its box.

      *Does not support NFC"

      bit suss, huh?

You'd be better off buying an Anker battery from Amazon. Good quality and often slightly higher capacity than genuine.

  • wow they have aus stock everywhere but not genuine? local fake stock more precisely

  • Good price on the Otterbox Defenders, bought 1 for iPad 4. Thanks OP.

    • This will also be fake, big difference in quality

      • Well I have an authentic one to compare it to, so will be able to tell the difference.

      • Arrived today, absolutely genuine.

  • Time for another Telstra Shop deal hint hint, at least there's a 99.99% chance they'll be genuine. Still using my S2 battery from that deal, surprised that was 2.5 years ago though…
