EziBuy $30 Voucher with Free Click and Collect

Ezibuy just sends out this voucher to my mail box. Apparently it is not a targeted voucher, I used it twice with my partner account. Could be pick up from Big W store so save money on delivery.

I got some cushions, had good reviews on them

Minimum is 30+ ( I put a face cloth in to make it go above the requirement)

        • @easternculture: I guess so cause there is no need for them to store our details except order details. I did pick up few orders from other Big W in Melbourne, none ever recorded ID details in their system.

        • I remember I went with someone to Big W QV - and they recorded License number on their record. I thought that was normal to record it for purpose of referring to later on. Is It not?

    • Nope. You need to wait for either the email from Big W or a txt to say its ready for collection.

  • Weird how with the orders where i ordered the face cloth that it's not actually showing up in the order history yet the face cloth is showing as in stock on the web site. And i was charged for the face cloth on the debit card.

    Is EziBuy actually going to give us our face cloths?.

  • My order says completed, but on the individual items it still says processing. Wonder what that means.

  • Some thing is very odd with the EziBuy invoicing system. I ordered a Denim Shirt for $30 and the $3 face cloth which when applied the $30 discount coupon was at $3 + delivery inc the shirt & face cloth combined. Yet i was charged on the invoice $2.72 for the shirt. How does a $30 shirt and a $3 face cloth with a $30 discount applied some how make the shirt $2.72 but not charged for the face cloth since it's sold out. It should have been $3 + $9.90 delivery total invoice price. Am i missing some thing?. Basically i got charged $2.72 for the shirt which should have been free and not getting the face cloth at all since it went missing from the order history. In my opinion the EziBuy invoicing system leaves a lot to be desired since it can't even count right some times and seems to take orders for out of stock items and then totally ignores them in the order history.

    • I ordered a bed rest for $24.99 and had two face towels ($6.00) cancelled.
      Ended up paying $0.79 instead of $0.99.
      Strange deduction, but can't really complain.

      • Yeah. As i said the invoicing system some times can't add up 1 + 1 correctly.

    • The explanation is pretty straightforward: they apportioned the $30 discount amount to both items you ordered $30 discount off $33 order means you pay 1/11th of the regular price for each item. The shirt was discounted to $2.72, the face cloth down to $0.27. The total would have been the $3 (+- rounding) you expected to pay.

      Then when the face cloth was out of stock they removed that whole item (including the part of the discount that was applied to that item).

      Still better than saying: "facecloth out of stock, now your order does not fulfil the minimum spend, so you don't get any discount at all".

      • Oh well i see. I didn't want to complain lest they might flag the order and then cancel it.

        • It's fairly common practice when discounts are given - to pro rata the payment to individual items.

          That way, if there was a refund on the shirt, you could not claim $30, but be refunded the pro rata payment of $2.72.

          Happens with Woolies online purchases when a refund is required after discount was applied.

          Thanks good to know. At least i only paid $2.72 + delivery for the shirt. If click and collect was available for me would have used that but alas not to be. In Queensland there's no click and collect location available through the Ezibuy click and collect search any further north than Noosa.

          Funny because you can click and collect to Big W Rockhampton through the Big W web site but not so on the Ezibuy web site. Yet isn't Ezibuy owned by Woolworths?. Go figure.

  • I cannot find my order after logging in to the account, also did not receive anything from them after they said that they are 'processing' my order.

    Are they canceling these orders? :(

  • Oh no, just checked and mine is missing too… I will not be impressed if it is cancelled because it said order was completed.

      Order no longer showing up on their website. Was there before (after receiving the order completed email).

      • I was told earlier by one of the customer rep that they are merging all accounts with the same names and addresses into one account.It would appear that some people have opened more than one account, under their own name, to broaden this deal.

        Edit: I contacted them because I noticed that my wife's and my account had been merged. We have the same last name and same address.

        • If they didn't want people making multiple accounts then they should have designed the system to deny multiple account creation using the same name and address. But they didn't.

          I've never heard of a retailer forcing multiple accounts into the one. I have a few accounts with Big W online and they never pulled this. Some people have more than one account using different email addresses because the may have a few Paypal accounts using different bank accounts for each Paypal account and so they'd like the email address to match up from their Paypal account with the account from the retailer.

    • Have got email of shipment, tracking number in Australia Post for delivery, but now my order has disappeared from my 1 account.

      • Disappeared also for me. The order history tab just sits there with the animated icon doing nothing for a while then shows no orders.

        • Same here. Order was there 2 hours ago. I checked then as report of orders disappearing.

          Maybe just system maintenance? Common late on Sunday nights.

    My order has reappeared. Had suggested in forum to check in the morning.

    Was just system / account maintenance. Unlikely they could combine accounts and keep the account system live.

    This has been an expensive deal (cost of IT work on top of thousands of $30 discounts) for Ezibuy.

    • I don't think they combined orders. My orders and wifey's order are still in separate accounts.

    Also all 4 of my orders have been shipped. I ordered early.

          Well i couldn't do click and collect since no C&C locations available so i used delivery method. The next stage if it's actually shipped is an email from Australia Post through Parcel Collect saying ready for collection.

      • Did you order early on say on Thursday night or at a later stage such as the following morning?. Looks like those who got in early are getting their orders shipped.

          I was a new customer, created 1 account, placed order about 19:30 25/09. Order finally changed from Completed (with both items Processing) to Shipped late last night. Tracking shows its on its way.

          Ordered Bluetooth keyboard & European pillowcase for $6.

          [Had to get delivered as collect is not an option on mobile site & won't change to full site. Rang straight away & was told I will get refund on delivery cost.]

          Considering the large number of orders for same items, fulfilling orders would be difficult. Likely delays / cancellations may be due to combination of what & when you ordered, and the company's realisation of the losses from this deal!

  • Must have just been system maintenance or glitches last night.

    My order is still at Processing stage. My past orders have had a two-business day turnaround from payment to dispatch, so I'm hoping I get a dispatch notice today.

    When I ordered, only 1 of my 3 items were available; one was on waitlist and the other was that sold out facecloth. However, the one that was available is now sold out, so I guess I'll see!

    • Wonder if it takes a while for the shipping confirmation to be sent after the order history status changed to shipped. Probably get sent out from the email server in a batch at certain times of the day.

  • Got sms and email for click and confirmation. Only weired thing is order history on ezibuy site is blank now…and Order number generated at the time of ordering and order number in clicncollect sms/email are different….

    • They seem to be updating their accounts again, so no access available to history. Guess it's due to order cancellations & closing "offenders" accounts for code violations as reported :-(

    • I also got an email today saying that my click and collect order was ready for collection. The click and collect order number is different to the original order number, but this has happened for me in past click and collect orders so I wouldn't be too worried about that!

    • Got a text and email at 1135 today to go and collect my order at Forest Hill. A bit of background regarding my account, it wasn't newly set up. I had made a previous order on the 14th Sept of the grand total of $3 using a code I'd received in the mail as an Everyday Rewards customer. Perhaps they are cancelling the orders of accounts created on the day of the "code violations" using the said code!?

      • Also got the email/sms for collection. Plus i had placed an order a month or so ago with ezi so you could be right.

        For what it's worth, my guess is later or possibly delayed orders were cancelled. That's happened in a few OzBargain deals.

        Not much use trying to guess how a business deals with an unexpected rush of orders using a code apparently meant for few.

        They have the right to cancel orders in a case like this. Not much to gain by guessing why.

  • I put in two orders. First one I accidentally submitted the order without applying the discount code and ended up paying full price. Second order was made using the discount code. I contacted them straight after I put in my first order to have it cancelled. and was told I could not cancel my order. I was fine with that (one paying full price and another one with a $30 discount). But now they have cancelled my second order. I am extremely unhappy with this!

      • No. I was told over the phone that the only way I can do now is to PAY a postage fee to return the product and get a refund. very disappointing and unsatisfied with this

    Bad PR on their part methinks . Look at all of the new customers they got - some of them would have shopped with Ezibuy again. Now all of those potential customers are lost….

    • Sorry your order was cancelled, but were you going to buy at their full prices?

      I certainly wasn't going to be a repeat customer unless I got another great discount code. Those may be rare after this deal :-(

      Certainly no issue for them losing a lot of (in some cases multiple account) new customers who paid next to nothing. Those "customers" cost them in stock, staff, & shipping costs. Plus the IT bill for managing those multiple accounts & rewriting their systems to avoid this in the future. Not that I am crying over Woolies profits.

    The weird thing is they are refunding me a $1.02 less than what I paid for the order. Wrote back to them asking why. Let's see how it goes.

    Anyways I wouldn't mind losing that dollar as I already made some savings from their previous $20 coupon code. Got some sheets for $2.

  • Can everyone file a dispute on Ezibuy via Paypal. getting 40-50 disputes in a day will lead to huge issues on their Paypal account and getting them temporarily suspended.

    • Why do you want to open a dispute? Just because they aren't honoring an order placed using a coupon code that you got from unofficial channel. Do you want to suck up the huge loss and deliver thousand's of orders (based on number of clicks)? Legally they have every right to cancel all the orders. Let's be happy that they are honoring at least few orders and some OZ Bargainers are benefiting.

    • called them couple of times, they assured me its all in progress and should be available for pick up by thursday. Next thing i see is email from ezibuy who cancelled my order given the reason "insufficient supply". Although my wife picked up dresses for herself which was in stock at the time of ordering and infact it still is on their website. I am with you, if you take it up further. Dodgy business they run..!

    Hate hate hate Ezibuy!!! They cancelled both my orders with no explanation!!! Never ever again…

    • My account details page still works.

      However the Orders History page comes up with an error.
      Looks like they just did a database remove on my Order to remove all traces of it - but ended up breaking the page for my history.

      Like others, no email, no contact. Took my money (NO refund yet). And tried to remove all traces of the orders made. Looks fishy!

      Approx 9000 clicks.. if they took $1 from each person and decide not to refund.. they make $9000 from thin air!!

    Order of Bluetooth keyboard & European pillowcase arrived today :-)

    • Does your keyboard work? Tried pairing it with my phone (Xperia Z) and my laptop, but it won't work!

      • Paired with a $29 Huawei 7" tablet immediately.

        Just set it up in seconds with my Android phone… typing with it for first time now.

        Chinglish Instructions in manual are so small (just in case that is the problem)…
        (Charge) Turn on at switch, blue light comes on for 5 seconds,
        simultaneously press <- [top left] & >/end [bottom right] keys - blue light flashes,
        Bluetooth search with your device, click on keyboard in list,
        code will be displayed on your device, enter code via Bluetooth keyboard.

        Better feel than an Aldi one I tried at similar price.
