If you don't know what this is you don't need it….
There are no affiliate links or anything like that in the URL.
Enjoy & if you used this just give me a thumbs up! :-)

What's the regular fee once the first year ends?
Looks like $9.71/year for PositiveSSL and $11.81/year for RapidSSL according to this page https://www.namecheap.com/security/ssl-certificates/domain-v…
Namecheap will match competitor pricing if you contact them. Or, just replace your SSL when it's time to renew, takes about the same time as renewing anyway!
If you plan to have an SSL for more than 1 year you are far better off getting one from here
Why should SSL certificates be time limited? (in this case, 1 year for $1.99)
Can we host our own SSL certificates ourselves, & save?
Depending on your usage/purpose, maybe. You can setup a Certificate Authority and generate your own SSL, but the general public wouldn't trust the certificates by default.
That's why these companies can make money, they've already done the legwork and got their certs in every browser/OS out there.
Wow 95 clicks and only 4 upvotes….I feel violated…
And one of those upvotes was your own :(
re: If you don't know what this is you don't need it….
That's not really the point in ozb… We normally buy things we don't need.. :-)
So what is this?
