    • I made my purchase 2 May and sent a message via their contact centre a few days ago. The HSBC person just replied restating that it will be credited within 2 mths etc BUT she referred to 10,000 points instead of 30,000! I've replied saying that the advertised promotion at the time was 30,000 - so will see what they say…

      • FYI, I got a reply saying that the 30K points only applied to the Platinum Qantas cards (which is incorrect!), but when I looked in my reward balance, they had credited me with 30K points (finally!), so I must be correct. :)

  • got charged interests on the annual fee since i have done 100% balance transfer of limit. might have to call them up to get it refunded. i made a 5 cent purchase at coles and got my 30k points and annaul fee refunded finally on the second statement. wish cards are 19000 points for $100 gift carcd now what can i use my 1000 point balance on?

  • anyone with this hsbc platinum card offer sucessfully transfer it to the new platinum card offer of no annual fee for life ?

  • If we haven't checked our bills, HSBC would have charged us the $129 annual fee easily…

  • Took me forever to get it done (documentation not received, different type of employment evidence needed, couldn't find 100 points etc), but well worth it. Have the card, BT'd the full amount to a previous BT card, and will buy a chilli at Coles soon, to get the fee waived, plus 30,000 points.

    Great bargain.
