  • I will say this is a very good offer with o% balance transfer + free points + zero annual fee for the 1st year.

  • Not a horrible deal. I cancelled my card because of the "removal" of the 2for1 offer this card used to have. Still not as good as the Citibank Signature card for $75k+ income earners: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/123330

    • "Two41" promo code offer still applies to the card —- however, it applies to the base fare only. Taxes and booking fee is not discounted. Fly SYD-PER and you save a lot!

  • what does 20k velocity points get you?

    • Approximately ~$400 in VirginAU flights in a (school) holiday period. (effectively ~$238 if using another airline for similar flights while they are on special [qantas], best/worst case scenario ~$150 [tiger])

    • 1 QFF or Velocity point is approx $ 0.007. So 20000 points is around $140. In terms of points for flights, it is around 3 one-way flights SYD-MEL (plus taxes).
