RAM 512MB…..not enough these days. Will lag as soon as you have more tan 1 or 2 apps running.

I find even 1GB hard to use on the S3. I think 2GB is great but 512mb is the minimum android can handle.

  • I think Banggood made a mistake, the MTK6572 should be dual-core CPU, not a qual-core.

    • true that.

Rep - does this phone support NFC or do you have any phones that do?

I would get Huawei G510 for $119 from Big W.Very similar spec.

    • just bought that today…..good phone the kid at christmas

  • 1) ah blergh From 220 dpi the other day OP, down to 217dpi (worse!) Instead let's apply a wee bit of selectivity from this point on. Draw a line after ancient 'Acer Liquid mt' (259dpi), let's say: 250 ppi.

    2) The aim should be to get ABOVE 250-pixels density in any case, in some frame Above a five" factor - 4.5 by today & handsets begin to look diminutive next to eg: Spectacular SG4 line - so, then, ideally, we should aim to highlight deals greater and emphatically larger than fruit phones' remarkably constrained (4") display. </rant>

Admittedly I am at a loss to point out a much more affordable or functional random handset in respect to sub $200 Power androids. However I did discover in Everbuying's newsletter, code Excelvan to supply what could be thought par for the course for AUD 154.

After entering code Excelvan, +32 dollars extra would secure one.

    •^A True 1.2GHz X4/non-Turbo •1 Whole gb ram •900850/2100 both •IPS 267dpi HD @5" •2 x 2100mAh •802.11n & •167 g 8.8 mm

But beyond all that I will be holding out for such vital cornerstones as 2 GB RAM, Antutu score, KitKat 4.4.x, gorilla glass ideally and XDA support. :D
