    don't let paypal convert - have your visa/mc do so instead - then it should be A$0.99 or less (assuming no forex fees)

      Even with a 3% forex fee that my Amex charges, it still works out cheaper than Paypal conversion :P

  BEWARE USING PAYPAL
  Paypal didn't give me the total and advised that it would be reviewable on the companys page before the order is submitted, instead after I pressed submit on paypal the company site advised me I had paid $6.99 for a 99c travel pillow! Spewing.

    I did the same thing! It said the total would be viewable on the next page, as it wasn't listed. I got charged $6.99 as well. I will email them to cancel the order, hope they can sort it out.

      had the same feeling but upon checking on my paypal account I was glad to see I was only charged $0.99 ($1.01 after conversion)

        Lucky you, I checked and I definitely got charged the full price. I sent them an email but disputed the transaction for good measure, seeing as they say they don't guarantee cancellations via email and expect you to call them
