  • Does anyone know if these are any good?

    • +1

we bought one and it seems to work fine. it certainly works better than the audio only one we have which wouldn't transmit a signal the length of the house.
Picture quality is suitable for the task in both day and night settings and the audio is fine. I haven't had a chance to play with all of the features yet. Don't think you will find to many baby monitors in store at this price, let alone with video. hope that helped.

  • I've bought one of the aldi ones in the past it only lasted a few months due to the power button being broken by a toddler, (after repeated requests NOT to let the kids play with the gear)

while we had it it was decent enough, could see what the baby was doing - the break wasnt really the units fault, at this price it seems pretty reasonable. I believe they have an AV out port too (the one we got from aldi did), so you can plug them into the TV, handy if the babys sleeping and you get a five second break to sit down - flick the channel and check up on bubs. didnt use it a great deal but still useful.

  • Hey guys I'm after some help. I've brought the monitor to my in laws house so left the manual at home and it's the first time using it properly.

The monitor seems to switch off after 5 mins? Video and sound both off. I have to turn it back on. Even though the receiver is on?

Please help as I can't sleep!
