Hands-free filming in style.

Don’t be weighed down with camera equipment while out and about enjoying your life. With the Kogan Video Camera Sunglasses, you can film fun or important events, while looking as stylish and cool as James Bond himself.

The uses these sunglasses have is only limited by your imagination. Wear them while parachuting from 50,000 feet in the air, climbing Mt Fuji or racing your Jaguar through the streets of Prague. For those with a less hectic lifestyle, they are ideal for recording meetings, conferences and concerts, capturing evidence of criminal or unsafe behaviour, or just filming your day as you are out and about. You can even use them to film point-of-view 'How to’ guide videos to share with the world.

Features video recording at 720×480 resolution at 30 frames a second and your media is stored on a Micro SD card which can then be transferred to your computer via USB. As an added feature, the lenses of these sunglasses are polarised and offer UV protection, guarding your eyes from harmful sun damage.

  • What's the bet they don't operate at that altitude/air pressure.

I checked on TomWaterhouse.com but couldn't see any listing for these.

i see what you did there

        • I spent 5 minutes thinkin about it, still can't please aware me.

        • Assumed as a shared sarcasm in corresponding with sophia's reasonable doubt, confirmed by lookup TomWaterhouse web site which has no connect to glasses just being an unrelated betting site. So the tone is negative.

        • O.O

  • Price is ok, but im not sure if I want to be Batman & Robin with this glasses.

  • Same set is $27.35 delivered from Deal Extreme.

But it has a foreign plug and will take ~2 weeks versus Kogan's 1-2 days, so no neg.

  • kogan, out innovating google since 2013

  • waiting till they make clear versions so I can make home videos hands free….

Bought a couple of these for Xmas presents for $49 from Cudo in 2011.
They're very gimmicky and never got used past Boxing Day (when they got put back into their original boxes… how appropriate)

I bought a pair of these for $15 on ebay from china, i'd say the kogan ones wll be exactly the same.

The battery only last about 3 hours and the video quality is about the same as a old webcam.

  • Can you get them with prescription lenses? I'd be blind as a bat wearing those.

These will be perfect at the beach…….to keep the sun out of my eyes….

  • I also have a same one like this one, but now it does work now. A little sad and it cost me $35 last year.:(

  • nobody will ever notice you wearing them

    • +1

It might make an interesting scene if someone points out someone wearing these.

It could end up like the end-scene of a Benny Hill show!

  • Not sure which one I should get.. that or this http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/97932

  • Pretty much a sub-standard picture. Will await P1080-720 version.

    US $19.85 http://www.ebay.com/itm/190814347491 looked good,
although it's still a challenge to verify these specs given [720*30].
