Just fyi, if you don't want Bioshock Infinite, it can be replaced by Gears of War: Judgement for the same price.

Trust me, you want Bioshock Infinite.

      • I have the 4gig XBox and have had only one problem; Borderlands GOTY would not play the add-on disc without an XBox hard drive attached (despite the cover saying only the 4mb save slot was necessary). I have emailed Irrational games with this query but they never responded- Does anyone know if Bioshock Infinite requires an XBox external hard drive attached before playing?

    not such a bargain considering:
    1. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/88683
    2. successor to xbox 360 will be announced soon

I would recommend holding off on this, more deals certain to come out after Xbox 720 release. Just like Samsung s3 deals, and Wii.

    • +5

The PS4 announcement had no major effect on PS3 prices though.

Xbox 720 is being released much later in the year. This is a great price if you've been holding off buying an Xbox. Plus, the 720 will be ridiculously expensive on release, why not wait for the price drop and game on the 360 a little longer? Great bundle of games for this price.

For those not fussed about the hard drive, the 4GB version (with no games) went for $129 (or $149 delivered) from MLN not long ago (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/95022). Maybe a sign of things to come

    • To me it seems soo funny that the hardware to play games cost nearly as little as a game it plays. Maybe even less if you consider collector editions of games. Funny how that is.

      • Maybe its a reflection of how inflated the price of the software is….

Or a representation of the years of work put in by the artists, programmers, animators, actors, composers and everyone else on the payroll before this game began generating income?

        • its a combination

certainly the business model is to sell the hardware at a lower price to reduce barriers to entry and then recoup costs through game sales. its a lot like the business model used by printer makers through the print cartridges

    This is a great deal!

It's rare to see EB Games actually have competitive prices. This is refreshing.

  • Great price! So tempting but I have no time / huge pre-existing hoard of games anyway. :(

  • +3

Wait, since when did EB Games start having good deals? This is news to me.

  • out of stock now…

    • You can still get the deal in-store.

  • I signed up to submit my first post, but ozbargain has a 24 hour cooling period on noobs.
Anyways, to sweeten this deal, ALL Skyrim DLC on XBox Live is discounted by 50% until April 2nd 2013.
Part of some Easter weekend sale.

Skyrim: Dawnguard - 800 Microsoft Points
Skyrim: Hearthfire - 200 Microsoft Points
Skyrim: Dragonborn - 800 Microsoft Points.

If someone deems that worthy of reposting that, feel free to do so.
