  With iPad 3, the cellular part is basically 3G only in Australia, the 4G band it supports only work in US (Verizon, AT&T).

    Thats correct but you can get 10-20 mbps on telstra dc-hspa network.

    My non 4g/LTE nexus 4 gets 15-20 mbps all the time.
