    5% pricebeat

    • My bad.

    • I dont have costco membership, can i still ask for price beat?

    128G ………………….

    • +2

It is still the elite form factor!

    • ………………………is more than enough for most people.

iPhone 14, from 3 years ago, is more than enough for most people.

        • I would love to know what percentage of Pro owners use their phone to its full potential.

          • +2

@Maths Debater: I use all 120hz into my eyeballs. Now when I look at a non-Pro phone my eyes burn.

        • Unless you want USB-C, then you need an iPhone 15 for that.

(Or just move to Android, as the stans say, but that takes time to do, and everyone’s afraid of learning something new, especially as corporations are making them work to the bone).

In this day and age and for the price, minimum storage should be 256GB. 128GB shouldn't exist.

    What a rip-off

    • +7

The rip off is that the upgrade to 256GB costs $200 for $15 worth of NAND. 128GB is fine if you’re happy to offload your photos to the cloud every so often.

      • +2

They rip you off because people still buy it. Stop buying and then they’ll be forced to reduce the price

        • You don’t have to tell me? I said I had a 128GB phone in my comment.

        • Even Samsung iGalaxy realised this and took away micro SD slot. They followed iPhone.
          "This is the way"

    • Not everyone takes photos of their food and there's always iCloud storage.

      • +2

        there's always iCloud storage.

Connect via cable to computer, transfer to hard-disk and remove from phone.

Obviously not if it was the most sold phone in 2024!

  • I’ve been told that they don’t price beat Costco?

    • They do, but it ultimately comes down to the competence of the store manager.

      • Which is your better chance of a PB online or in store?

        • +3

I have read people had better success via the Officeworks number 1300 633 423. It will save you time getting dicked around from one store to another.

          • +3

@Maths Debater: Yep. I did the OW price beat over the phone a few weeks back with an iPhone listing from Costco. No questions asked and pick up arranged at my local OW.

      • +1

only incompetent store managers reject PBs

    • they all do I did it when i got my IP5PMAX

      • iPhone 5 Pro Max … 10 years ago?

    • I did yesterday for airpods, in store, they said "as long as its in stock on the website we can do it", very smooth process for me.

  • Clearing for the iPhone 17 already ??

    • +6

Yep, apparently it'll feature a revolutionary new design, the 3.5mm headphone jack. Oh, and it's their "best iPhone yet".

      • +2

Its always their best iPhone yet

  • +2

Used it and was back to my Google Pixel 7 within a week.

  • How does the video compare with Samsung flagships?

    • iPhone are the best at video recording. Android phones skip frames and switching between cameras isn't as smooth.
