      Yeah the HDD/DVD recorder box (rdrhxd890) is normally $450 (sale price) so yes you do save a lil bit.

      X & W are 100Hz and have a 10 bit panel (Display more colours) V is 50Hz and 8 bit panel. Both are full HD tho ;)

      There are a couple differences between the X & W as well (other than design) The X is made in Japan and but the W has a swivel base.

        What's the extended warranty price on this? I am in Brisbane though. Still deciding whether it is worth it to drive down there or visit the sony center (or videopro, which i remember owns sony central stores in QLD) here at the DFO.

        Would they do the same price? or can you make a sale to have it pick up in a different store?

          $149 for an extra 4 years warranty, in house warranty, full replacement if to costly to fix. Videopro should be able to do the same deal, just give them a call ;) Dont think I can sell from another store other than Helensvale Sony Centre. (sorry)

    This is cheap because it's a low refresh rate - 100Hz is better than this (50Hz) and 200Hz is the new thing.

    Ordered mine over the long weekend. As promised, Daniel did do a good deal when I went to the store.

    Yet to pick it up.. this weekend, hopefully. But thanks Daniel; this is, IMO, about $150 - $200 cheaper than the cheapest online deal.
