Vaya 4G BYO Mobile Plans - $9, $16, $22, $34, $45

Vaya have launched their 4g plans (after LC did theirs yesterday)

the plans are as follows.

$9 - $50 talk and text - 100mb data
$16 - $200 talk and text - 500mb data
$22 - 650 talk, unlimited text - 1.5gb data
$34 - 850 talk, unlimited text - 2gb of data
$45 - unlimited talk and text - 3gb data

These are on the Optus 4G Network. Remember to check https://www.optus.com.au/4gcoverage for full details of where coverage exists.

Also remember that 4G doesn't affect call quality or reception - it only relates to data.

    • it looks like they will charge you $33 to upgrade.
      alternatively you can port your number to a $2 voda sim, then port back ($20) for $22.

      its stupid that existing customers are getting screwed to upgrade

  • tempted. do you guys know if i9250 google galaxy nexus (samsung) is compatible ? I found contradicting information online.

    where can i get the list of phones that can run vaya 4g LTE? because looking to upgrade my phone as well..

    • 1800 MHz LTE phones
      Pretty much all new phones sold in Australia and certain imports from certain countries

      • what's the cheapest ( but decent ) phone that will support 4g lte at the market currently? i just need a phone that can run smoothly and i dont need one with 13mp camera or any other "fancy" features…

        i have galaxy s2 currently and i am happy with it, but it does not support 4g.. and yes, i like to get 4g connection because i watch a lot of sports on my mobile ( nba tv and mlb tv ) and currently on 3g vodafone, it is frustrating..

        • Cheapest option for Optus/Vaya is the S3 4G at a little over $400.
